This was our third time visiting La Cucina Di Simonetta E Andrea and this time we were totally blown away by the service and hospitality we received. The wine recommended to us with our fish was the: Tenuta Di Vaira Bolgheri Bianco which was a great pairing. The pasta was super delicious while the pizza was good, but a little too thick for my taste. Service was good, but we were ignored after we received our main course. A second drink that I ordered was never served. After waiting for a while we decided to pay and skip coffee and dessert. Overall I expected little by the looks and location of this restaurant and was positively surprised. Don't judge a book by it's cover. The food there is really great. Un’esperienza altalenante, con margini di miglioramento

Siamo stati recentemente a cena da Simonetta e Andrea, attirati dal nome conosciuto e da consigli di amici. Il locale ha una bella atmosfera e una buona capacità di accoglienza, anche se nei momenti di affollamento l’organizzazione può andare un po’ in affanno.

L'antipasto di mare caldo era buono, senza particolari slanci. Le linguine alle vongole non ci hanno convinto del tutto, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la qualità complessiva del piatto. Molto lunga l’attesa tra le portate, oltre un’ora nel nostro caso, anche se va detto che il personale, giovane e cortese, si è scusato spiegando la carenza di personale esperto. La frittura, abbondante ma standard.. Nulla di tragico, ma nulla di memorabile.

Conto finale corretto (circa 44€ a persona), anche se alcuni prezzi sul menù ci sono sembrati un po’ sopra la media, considerata la qualità e il servizio.

In conclusione: può andare bene per una serata senza troppe pretese, soprattutto se non si ha fretta. Se cercate pesce fresco e servizio attento, magari meglio chiamare prima e sincerarsi della serata giusta.
