Jolly beach 6.7. 2022 we were in our favorite restaurant Jolly Beach. We have been coming here for 8 years, 3 times per year, and we have been visiting the restaurant almost every day. The first thing we have found out was that the owner Stefano Fabricio is no longer here, but that the restaurant has a new owner, a new logo and design. We have a dog with us, a golden retriever, so we always sit outside not to disturb the guests. We arrived at 19:20 and we were waiting until 20:15 to see if the waitress would serve us...but I guess we were invisible. Then I asked through the window if there was service outside, but no one answered me. After another 10 minutes, when no one noticed us, we gave up and left that place. We are very disappointed, we haven't had this experience before! Please note that the restaurant was occupied at max. 50% and when we arrived, 3 tables were occupated! For the new owner: This restaurant was excellent mainly for the personal contact with customers, the excellent atmosphere and especially the staff's interest around clients. Before, the restaurant didn't even have as many staff as it does now. Unfortunatelly, I can’t recommend this restaurant! We visited another restaurant and spent 120 €, we will go there again today. They appreciate guests here…
I previously had a 5 star review here for several years … :((...
Read moreVery unpleasant place with super rude personel. As we barely entered the place and politely asked if the waiter speaks English, he immediately asked if we have a reservation (in italian), if no we need to leave (even though the place was empty inside). The next day we wanted to have a sandwich for breakfast there, both waiters were watching us for a while studying the sandwich menu on the wall and none of them informed us that they are available only after 12 o'clock (no written information). Maybe the place has super view to the beach, no idea how the food tastes, but behaving like that won't bring...
