Beautiful location and lovely staff, but pricing(or size) and presentation could be improved

Remi is beautifully located with a spacious outdoor area offering a picturesque view of the church. The interior is tastefully decorated with a pleasant, modern color scheme – the space feels clean and well-composed. However, some small details fall short of the otherwise polished atmosphere: for example, the menu looks rather cheap, and the cutlery was placed on a basic paper napkin directly on the plate, which didn’t quite match the otherwise slightly sophisticated ambiance.

The service was very good – particularly our waiter, who was genuinely kind, attentive, and very professional. He is a prime example of the kind of waiter you’re happy to tip. It’s worth noting: waiters like him make all the difference – unlike those who greet you with a frown and then wonder why they don’t get tipped after a night of indifference.

The food was of high quality. I had the Cacio e Pepe, which had a well-balanced flavor – creamy, smooth, without lumps, and with just the right amount of pepper. Truly well-executed. However, the portion was very very very very small. Had there been one less noodle on the plate, we might have sent it back. At €9, the portion size does not feel justified. I also tried the Cacio e Pepe with prawns, which came at €15 – €6 more for just two raw prawns placed on top. This price difference seems hard to justify and left a slightly bitter aftertaste, despite the dish itself being tasty.

All in all, a well-located restaurant with great service and refined dishes – but the value for money and attention to small details could...

Non è retorica se dicessi che Remì vale ben oltre le categoriche 5 ⭐️. Ci sono tutte le motivazioni e ragioni che andrò ad elencare.

Punto Primo, Accoglienza. Favolosi. Accolti con calore e professionalità.

Punto Secondo, Il Ristorante. Effetto Wow totale. Non si smette mai di osservarlo tutto. Altezza è imperiosa, colori bilanciati ed un contrasto gradevole alla vista. Tavolo con mise en place originale e con piatti di portata belli da vedere.

Punto Terzo, il Menù. Una tradizione rimescolata è magicamente trasformata in piatti eccellenti dove i sapori sono esplosivi, gustosi e fragranti. Tanto da togliere il fiato ai commensali durante la Cena, regalando momenti di silenzio appaganti. Ad un certo punto arriva la Delizia della serata, Polpo con Gelato al Pomodoro. Un successo tale da richiedere un bis immediato. Polpo al taglio si presentava morbido e più intrigante con il suo gelato, ghiacciato e poi diventato morbido al solo contatto. Mai mangiato !!! Le pietanze si sono susseguite e l’espressione di noi tutti era di assoluto apprezzamento.

Punto Quarto, il servizio di Sala. Personalmente è un concetto che osservo con attenzione per deformazione professionale. Top! Divisa con logo, no macchia, ben tenuta, in linea con arredamento; il personale attento e Premuroso. Vale tutte le stelle…

Punto Quinto, il Dessert! Un vero trionfo di prelibatezza. Ho tentato dí inutilmente di preservare il mio Cheeescake ai frutti rossi. Ho dovuto cedere alla richiesta…

Lady Chef è dai modi garbati e senza fumose sceniche. La concretezza fatta a persona trasformata in piatti dal pass alla Sala. Top!

Popped in here purely for a coffee and was thoroughly charmed! This isn't just a quick caffeine fix; it's an experience. The atmosphere is definitely swanky, making it a lovely spot to linger for a bit.

What truly elevates this place is the beautiful view of the Basilica of the Old Mad House. I'll certainly be making an effort to return on my next trip to town to sample their offerings.

Verdict: Highly recommended if you're looking for a stylish cafe with a memorable view....
