Osteria San Domenico — Restaurant in Bisceglie

It is a small osteria with just a few tables and definitely the locals eat here. There were couples having lunch and they were very familiar with the staff which are very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was very good, we bad cozze saute, grilled octopus with white sauce, shrimp pasta in zucchini sauce and also another dish of seafood pasta in tomato sauce (paccheri allo scoglio). You might not really notice this place from outside and then you might not think it’s a good place to eat at but thanks to high google notes we decided to try and we never regretted it. It’s a fish taverne with rather basic but super well cooked dishes with sea food of very high quality. And then the pasta with crevettes and burrata was just delicious. As they say - don’t trust the exterior view;)...

We had a booking for 9:30, and waited and kept on speaking to the staff there to ask for an update on our table. Although the restaurant was busy, to make us wait for 40 minutes is not acceptable. The food seems to be good, however if one must wait 40 minutes even if they have a booking I’m sure it is not worth it. I do not recommend wasting...
