The Golden Dragon - Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Brindisi

I ate here with my brother and sister while on vacation, and we had a wonderful experience. We had dumplings, fries, and sweet and sour chicken to start, all of which was amazing and very different from the Chinese food we have in the US. For the main, we had udon with chicken, noodles with pork, and a bowl of ramen. The noodles were tender with the perfect chew, and out of the many Chinese restaurants we have eaten at, the broth for the ramen was without a doubt the most flavourful we have ever had. We were highly impressed with how complex the flavour was, which again was very unique. I was also very glad to find jasmine tea while in Italy, which was only 2.50€ for a whole pot!

We could not recommend this place enough. The price, portions, and flavours were on point and it was a very memorable experience for us to try Chinese...

Horrible experience! I have been in many restaurants worldwide, but here I faced the arrogance with no respect to customer. The restaurant completely empty, just one table booked. Me and my husband generally order many dishes which can’t fit on one small table for two. So we kindly asked if it’s possible to have a big table, but we have faced principle matter of the unprofessional waiter/owner. Which had explain that there’s a unreasonable rules which he will not break no matter what. That was so ridiculous and totally disappointing!

Don’t bother to ruin your day and expectations to be respected for your own money that you pay. Anyways not worth it all for a common Chinese cuisine restaurant...

Siamo tornati al Dragone dopo molti anni, il locale ovviamente è stato rinnovato ed molto curato, pulito e luminoso. Sedie comode e tavoli spaziosi. Personale gentile e disponibile, forse qualche piccola accortezza in più nel servizio andrebbe bene ma per il resto nulla da eccepire. Menù con molta scelta, dai grandi classici a qualche piatto più elaborato. Abbiamo assaggiato un po’ di antipasti e tutto molto buono (involtini vietnamiti, panini cinesi fritti, ravioli vari) tranne un raviolo col gambero, purtroppo aveva un cattivo sapore. Abbiamo provato la zuppa agropiccante ed era buonissima, poi due diversi tipi di spaghetti anche questi buoni , non eccezionali ma buoni nella norma. Sicuramente c’è da migliorare qualcosina (ecco perché 4 stelle) ma torneremo sicuramente per provare...
