I came to the restaurant with my family. The food is decent, nothing exceptional in my opinion. The dishes are simple and fairly plain. We were told that the fish is locally fished. However, we were grossly overcharged for the dinner. We ended up paying 155€ for the whole meal, of which 20€ for each starter and, most infuriatingly, almost 20€ for each fish dish. These are huge (450g) but charged per 100g... Needless to say, we were not consulted or informed on the size of the portions. Obviously we could have asked, but we were urged to listen to the currently available dishes that the waitress recited for us, disregarding the menu- the only place where the pricing of the fish was fully explained. It's unfortunate to see this sort of thing happening in one of the few places still serving fresh, local fish. Il titolo giustifica il servizio e la location " Bar Trattoria". Quindi non bisogna aspettarsi un servizio da ristorante, ma quando arrivano le pietanze si viene proiettati in un mondo di gusti veri, e come mangiare a bordo barca con la moglie del vecchio pescatore. I gusti e la qualità son di altri tempi. Erano anni che non mangiavo un buon polpo ad insalata, un buon piatto di spaghetti al riccio di mare come se il riccio fosse pescato da pochi secondi e gli spaghetti facessero solo da contorno. Per evitare di aver vissuto un sogno non ho optato x il secondo prendendo ancora un primo, spaghetti allo scoglio. Meraviglia.... condimento ricco e ben preparato con tanto di scarpetta finale per la bontà e gusto del sugo tirato e saporito al punto di confondersi con una zuppa di mare. Ottimo anche il menù di mia moglie, assaggiato da me per gusto, spaghetti vongole, frittura calamari e sbadas. Pesce freschissimo e dolce fatto in casa. Sono stato a pranzo al Nido dell'Aquila, posto molto tranquillo, personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo ordinato come antipasto un tris con: Prosciutto di tonno, Gamberetti, Pesce Spada e un insalata di polpo. Vino della casa e una bottiglia di acqua gasata. Come primo Spaghetti allo scoglio conditi bene, una frittura di calamari e come contorno un insalata di pomodori. 2 caffe' e un mirto. Costo nella norma, 34€ a persona, ma e' stata a mio parere una buona scelta. Và sottolineato che si cucina solo pesce, sopratutto il pescato del giorno e si può apprezzarne la freschezza.
