Schlecht'n Seppl — Restaurant in Burggrafenamt - Burgraviato

My wife and I came for a Sunday dinner to celebrate our last day on vacation in the area. This was the most expensive and bland meal we had in the area. Our waiter Tom made a mistake and brought us a different meal than we ordered. I tried to catch his eye to let him know but several minutes went by and it became uncomfortable to have our food just sitting there so I began to eat it anyway. After several more minutes I caught Philip’s attention and asked him what the plate was. He explained in detail, and then I let him know it is not what we ordered. By this time our drinks and meal were half consumed. Phillip asked if he could bring the correct meal . I tried to not make my wife more uncomfortable by saying it was okay and we will keep it. The conversation did make her uncomfortable and I did not want to create a scene so we just dropped it. I would have thought the owner would offer a drink or desert to make up for it, but Phillip did not. When we returned to our hotel I called Phillip to personally let him know we had a bad experience at his restaurant. I spoke with both Tom the waiter and Phillip the owner. Nun, was soll ich sagen... Wir waren doch sehr enttäuscht. Service war OK. Der Rest, damit meine ich das Essen, wird unserer Meinung nach den Bewertungen absolut nicht gerecht. Ich habe mir die Hauspizza bestellt - normalerweise immer eine recht sichere "Sache" -, ich bin auch sehr froh, dass ich diese gewählt habe. Diese hat alleine wegen des Belages noch 2 Sterne bekommen. Der Teig war geschmacklich ok, aber hatte nichts mit einem guten einfachen Pizzateig zu tun - der Rand war praktisch nicht zu essen da er so hart war, dass Kekse aus der Überlebensbox eines Soldaten wohl diesbezüglich eher mit Tiramisu zu vergleichen wären 🤔 Leute das bekomme ich zu Hause besser hin! Sicher ist der Vergleich überspitzt und etwas drüber, aber das ist der Marketing Auftritt des Lokals inkl. der Bewertungen sicher auch... Meine Frau hatte übrigens Hirtenmakkaronies an diesem Abend - die waren OK. Aber wirklich auch nicht besser... Dazu kommt das es jetzt auch nichtwirklich günstig und leider erst recht nicht preisWERT war. Noch im erträglichen Rahmen, aber gerade noch so.... Geht doch mal in eurem schönen Ort selber essen und bewertet das doch mal selber, ich bin sicher das hilft weiter. Aber vieleicht hatten wir ja auch nur Pech, aber wer weiß das schon? Und es ist wie es ist: Man geht in einer Woche sicherlich nicht 2 x dahin wo es einfach nicht gut war. Wenn eine der besten Pizzas die ich bisher verspeisen durfte, nur 200 Meter weiter unten serviert wird. Sorry, für die harten aber...

Very accommodating, wonderful food, great experience. We could even bring our dog with us!

After a long drive we arrived around 8.30 pm and they still served us with warm food.

It was served an incredible Gulasch, Grillteller and the best Apfelstrudel which now lives rent free in my mind as the best one I ever tasted.
