Pizza was tasty, size a bit smaller as usual, not really for non Italian speaking tourists. We received a non typical Italian service (which means not really friendly and positive) as a family. It’s a hip and trendy restaurant with loud and funky music and (!) great food. But … ordering a drink three times before getting it is not typical in Italy not even in Firence or any other touristical places. Menu card where iOS browser and android browser are not capable to translate … the service lady offered her support but referred to Google translate which was not working for none of our phones. Service ended immediately and we sat there on our own. At least the water was served immediately, but then silence and busy waiters for all other guests. The somehow surprise orders were tasty but as a family we’ve never received such a (poor and passive) service in Italy. Sorry this restaurant is not compatible with our family.
Edit: Thanks, agree the other recessions say other things. Our feeling was, that the music was too loud, so sorry about the louder ‚scusa’ as neither winking, nor trying to get eye contact with a waiter, only ignorance was happening over a too long time. If the waiters are too busy in serving and supporting, maybe it is something to rethink? After asking we had to wait for another 10 minutes and ordered the beer at the other waiter. So Far our experience and our impression. No support in finding a meal … No one asking if we would like to drink wine or beer? Okay, at least we got the water very quickly. After the meal no one asking for coffee or any addition… But hey, it was a experience. A one time experience in this case with critics. If it would have been our first time in an Italian restaurant we may have not written this post, but we like the Italian friendliness- which was completely missing for us when we were there. Thanks, and have...
Read moreWe asked three times for our water, the Pizza's even came before our water was served. The Pizza's where fine, but afterwards we realized that the bill wasn't correct and we got ripped off. Some of the stuff where unfriendly to us.
*added after the comment from the restaurant
We did in fact not receive a bill, we paid at the small corner ,,bar" in the back to the left from the toilet. Everyone on here can see that all the ,,negative" critics are being dismissed through defensive behaviour, which affirms our critic and is a reflection of the unfriendly staff. Not every individual, honest opinion is either a fake or a confusion of the restaurant. One can also be thankful to have the option to get even better, to sensitize their employes, etc.- which is the whole sense of this ,,review concept" - as the pizza's where fine. Or it simply can help other people to filter their options and avoid certain...
