Ristorante e Pizza L' Imbuto — Restaurant in Cannobio

Located next to the lakefront the ambience was beautiful. The service was attentive and friendly. The appetizer was a delicious ensemble of marinated cherry tomatos with buffalo mozzarella and super tender octopus and fresh basil garnish served in a glass jar. The grilled fish platter included tuna, salmon, octopus, a jumbo shrimp and more. It was grilled perfectly and served with crispy oven roasted potatoes and tasty fork tender steamed broccoli and black rice. The pizza diavola was a thin crust with the right amount of topping. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the spicy salami was put on after the pie came out of the oven. I personally prefer the salami...

Despite slightly mixed reviews, we thought we'd give this place a go. It was ok. The pizza was nice and would probably be considered good in an English pizzeria, but disappointing compared to others we've had in Italy. Service was good - perfectly friendly and efficient. Prices were pretty standard for a restaurant in a prime tourist spot.

It is a very nice location right by the lake, and it certainly wouldn't be a mistake to visit here if that's what you're after, but equally nothing particularly to recommend it over numerous other similar...

Siamo stati a cena due sere di fila e questo la dice lunga!!!

PERSONALE ESTREMAMENTE GENTILE E ATTENTO ALLE ESIGENZE, ANCHE DEI PIÙ PICCOLI (ci hanno fatto ordinare subito per loro!)

Posizionato all'inizio della pedonale, semplice da raggiungere e con ampio parcheggio in cima alla pedonale.

Disponibilità di seggiolino per i piccoli!

Abbiamo iniziato con spritz che ci hanno servito con quadretti di focaccina e lardo di colonnata!!! Si scioglie in bocca!

La prima sera ci siamo dedicati ai piatti della cucina: -i bimbi più piccoli hanno gradito molto la pasta al pomodoro (la passata è di una bontà estrema!!!) -abbiamo poi ordinato tagliatelle (HANNO IL SAPORE DI QUELLE FATTE DALLA NONNA ALLA DOMENICA) al ragù tagliata di manzo con crema di parmigiano servita con patate e broccoli.. Piatto di cui si riconosce la qualità!! Abbiamo bevuto una barbera al calice, terminato con espresso schiumato e dolci (il tiramisù è TOP!)

Noi non siamo una famiglia da foto ai piatti, ma anche la presentazione merita!

La seconda sera abbiamo mangiato Pizza.. Impasto croccante e condimenti di qualità! Al mio bimbo non piace la mozzarella perciò l'ha presa con passata di pomodoro, tonno e olive e a differenza di altre pizze non era secca, anzi si gustava ancora di più il sapore del pomodoro!

Quando passeremo di qui sicuramente TORNEREMO! In estate così da poter sfruttare anche il dehors sul Lungo lago! TAPPA FISSA, POSTO DEL CUORE! ❤
