Pizzeria Marameo — Restaurant in Capannori

Extremely disappointed at the way the staff treated us. We visited here on vacation, after the first night we where served by a wonderful French lady who knew exactly what was going on and how to treat guests nicely. The food blew us away so we decided to return again 2 nights later… my fiancé wasn’t feeling well and actually fainted - again the lovey French waitress jumped in and helped us. Once again we decided to return 2 nights later but everyone who we spoke to for take out was just rude. We all felt unwanted, unwelcome and weren’t treated with respect. To make it better - our orders were wrong (incorrect size pizzas and also 1 pizza was incorrect) we where made to sit outside and wait in the cold wind like a bunch of animals. Won’t be returning again, only if we are served by the French server again. The only good thing about this Restuarnt want that lady...

Siamo venuti in questo posto per fare un pranzo di lavoro, che generalmente essendo DI LAVORO ce lo aspettavamo veloce. Attendiamo per sederci, prima veniamo chiamati da una cameriera e poi da un'altra in una gran confusione ci sediamo al tavolo per essere dimenticati. Tutto questo nonostante io avessi specificato più volte (anche alzandomi) che la terza persona che stavamo aspettando sapeva già cosa ordinare e quindi avremmo ordinato noi per lei. Dopo circa 20 minuti (e aver chiesto noi i menù) arrivano per l'ordine, che deve essere subito corretto alla consegna delle bevande in quanto sbagliate. Attendiamo altri 15 minuti e arriva il primo dei tre ordini e dopo qualche minuto gli altri due. Infine ordiniamo il caffè e dopo 10 minuti di ulteriore attesa (in cui vediamo il nostro vassoio lasciato sul bancone del bar) ci alziamo per chiederli di nuovo e consumarli in piedi, lujga attesa per averli (tra l'altro sprovvisti di cucchiaini). Il drammatico pranzo si conclude con una fila interminabile per pagare, molte persone si erano messe avanti dato che noi stavamo aspettando i caffè e la cameriera non riusciva a gestire la fila creatasi, facendo pagare a casaccio. A quel punto abbiamo perso la pazienza e chiesto di mandare il conto a casa (avremmo perso importanti appuntamenti di lavoro essendo ormai le 15), altrimenti non avremmo pagato e questo sarebbe stato più che giusto forse, allora miracolosamente si sono svegliati. É uscito il proprietario che con il sorrisino ha detto che "secondo voi l'abbiamo fatto di proposito?", quindi con un sorrisino (seppur sto scrivendo) rispondo cordialmente, come ho già fatto, che non é questione di farlo di proposito, ma é questione di non saper gestire determinate situazioni. Inoltre aggiungo che dire di essere "incapaci" non é un'offesa, le offese sono altre, é semmai il dire ad alta voce (da parte del proprietario) "complimenti per l'educazione" a un cliente e far pagare anche dopo un servizio del genere, invitandoci a non tornare mai più (come se ci fosse il problema, ma da proprietario forse non lo farei) Cordiali saluti, noi tutti ringraziamo per i vostri complimenti ma non per il...

We decided to come to Marameo because we visited another location, still in Toscana and we loved it, especially the fact that they offer whole wheat options for their pizza. Unfortunately, at the Lammari location, we weren't welcomed properly, we had to call in to the staff to get their attention. But the worst thing was that the older woman answering the phone, was smoking inside the restaurant and behind the counter. That is very unprofessional, unsanitary not to mention illegal. The food was decent, nothing to brag about but nothing bad about it either.

Sadly we're not sure we will come back to this location even though it's the closest...
