Ristorante La Lanterna — Restaurant in Carbonia

This restaurant is considered a good restaurant serving Sardinian dishes. The menu is made with first and second dishes with antipasto.

We ordered quickly and get our food quickly as well. The waiter was helpful and flexible. I must say the children loved their food. I am a bit disappointed on my side.

The restaurant is divided in two parts : the rooms and the garden. The garden is well decorated with cool air and that is very appreciated. The interior is well decorated with typical Sardinian rural objects.

Toilets are clean, two toilets one for men another one for ladies. Make sur ego be careful of the step at the door and then the ground difference between the entrance of the toilets and the two toilets rooms themselves : a little bit surprising.

Unfortunately, i will have to give this restaurant only two stars. Everything was somehow underwhelming and rather disappointing. To start off, we were seated at a table on a lopsided floor which was quite uncomfortable to sit at. The service at the restaurant wasn’t convincing either. They made several mistakes such as not bringing a fork after it being requested two times. Eventually, I had to get the fork myself. Two out of three Pastas we’ve been served had absolutely no taste and some appetizers were served after the main courses. I found this rather strange but maybe it’s normal here.

In conclusion, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant if you want to eat...

Ieri abbiamo avuto una piacevole scoperta proprio al centro di Carbonia,il ristorante La Lanterna!facile da raggiungere,siamo arrivati lì x pranzo,siamo stati accolti da una signora molto gentile e simpatica,con l'aiuto di un bravo cameriere. La signora ha saputo da subito consigliarci le pietanze migliori e proporci il loro menù di mare,abbondante e gustosissimo. Abbiamo iniziato con gli antipasti,per primo un insalata di polpo freschissima,a seguire del tonno spada su un letto di fette d arancia e pepe rosa,a seguire ricciola cucinata in un modo strepitoso!!!! Perché siamo persone a cui piace il buon cibo ed eravamo in 8 la signora ci ha consigliato inoltre un piatto di cozze,capesante e ostriche gratinate...che dire...top!!!! A seguire un primo di gnocchi di patate agli spinaci con vongole e bottarga e poi una buonissima fregola allo scoglio con del pesce freschissimo. Per secondo frittura di calamari e gamberi ottima e spigola alla griglia. Non potevano mancare i ravioli i dolci di ricotta che straconsiglio e la sebadas al miele e arancia. L'ambiente carino e raffinato,complimenti per la pulizia e per i dettagli all interno del locale...ci torneremo...
