Antica Napoli — Restaurant in Carugate

Tried the following here for lunch -

Pizza - Bella Napoli - Pizza napolitana as usual never fails to amaze me. Amazingly made - soft and slightly chewy. I believe the cornicione could be reduced not by size but a bit on the density because by the time one reaches there a slight effort is needed to chew and pass it down the throat.

But nevertheless, it doesn't deserve any less than a " 4 on 5 ".

Adding capperi was a personal choice as I tend to like it and my italian friends express a bit of surprise, may be because it's an odd combination which I'm not sure of. I just like it 🙈.

Il il babà - This is the first time for me and hardly did I know that it was with rum ( as I don't drink alcohol to be specific), even if I had heard a lot about it from my friends from the south of italy.

Still I thought I should give it a try, if not for the rum then atleast for the " dolce " which I really like 🙈.

Also I saw my senior and imitated his way - which is like cutting the " dolce " into pieces and making it soak in the rum, making it moist before eating.

It was a fairly decent experience.

Coming to the price - the total of pizza, il babà, il café e coca Cola was around 22 euros. Only the babà costed around 6.50 euros.

SIMPLY RUDE!! Upon calling to secure a reservation, my efforts were met with evident annoyance as I was informed there was no availability for two people throughout the entire evening. Undeterred, I called again an hour later to place a takeout order. To my dismay, the same individual seemed uncooperative, directing me to wait in line. The manner in which this was conveyed, almost as if deliberately highlighting their busy schedule, left me feeling unwelcome. It was perplexing that the establishment couldn't accommodate two additional takeaway pizzas between 8:45 pm and 11 pm, adding an unexpected layer of rudeness to...

Sono stato recentemente alla Pizzeria Antica Napoli e posso dire senza esitazione che è stata un'esperienza straordinaria.

L'atmosfera è accogliente e tipicamente napoletana, con un servizio impeccabile e cortese.

La vera star, però, è la pizza. Ogni boccone mi ha riportato alle strade di Napoli: l'impasto è soffice e ben lievitato, con quel perfetto equilibrio tra morbidezza e croccantezza. Gli ingredienti sono freschissimi e di qualità, dalla mozzarella di bufala DOP ai pomodori San Marzano, e il tutto è esaltato dal profumo inconfondibile del forno a legna.

Ho provato la classica Margherita e una speciale della casa, e entrambe erano sublimi. La Margherita era un trionfo di semplicità, con sapori genuini e ben bilanciati. La pizza speciali, invece, era una piacevole sorpresa, con abbinamenti unici e saporiti.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo, considerando la qualità del cibo e l'esperienza complessiva. Se cercate una vera pizza napoletana ,Antica Napoli è il posto giusto. Tornerò...
