I have visited Cassino a number of times, we was recommended this restaurant from the locals , we arrived around 7.30 pm to be told they didn’t open until 8pm , times on google maps incorrect !! We sat down to order our meal it took us about a hour to understand the menu, after we ordered our food the waiting time was too long between courses , my main meal was tuna, it was raw , and could not eat it, the waitress came over to me after twenty minutes and asked me if the was something wrong , ask if they could re cook the tuna, overall service was poor and not attentive. During a recent trip, our group of six stopped in Cassino for the night and decided to have dinner at Osteria del Pepenero. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. As soon as we walked in, we appreciated the intimate and relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was exceptional throughout the meal, making our whole group feel welcome and ensuring we had a wonderful time.

The food was truly delicious, and every member of our party enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend the pasta e fagioli soup; it was a personal highlight and easily one of the best I've had in recent years.
