A glance through the door seems almost ordinary, but once inside the sheer volume of wine is astounding, the huge tables made from seemingly singular tree trunks big enough to seat 14, the service from great staff is as you'd like, not all fake and in the same dress but as though a family business has expanded and this is before we're talk about the food and wine...

My wife, who's default order is steak, ordered the steak Fiorentina to share with another and said it wad the BEST STEAK SHE'S EVER HAD!!

My friend, who I consider a food connoisseur, said it is ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS HE'S EVER EXPERIENCED!!

In addition, the wine is exceptional with staff who know what they're talking about.

And all this for a price you'd pay in other very ordinary restaurants.

Can't recommend highly enough.

The right way to experience Bolgheri wines with incredibly tasty dish pairings! We came here rather than going to a wine degustation at a specific vineyard as we wanted to try different wines at once and compare them. You can of course take wine bottles and glasses but what is interesting is that you can take as little as 5cl glasses, meaning you can try many different ones and make your own opinion. This was really what we enjoyed the most! The in house sommelier walked us through the wine origins, notes, explained the best times when to drink them - some wines are best after 15 years and then decline, some are incredible immediately and some just remain wonderful even after 20 years.

You do not have to be a wine expert to appreciate the wines and any question you might have, don't shy away and ask the sommelier. Really, ask him. He is truly a master of his craft.

Super expensive 🙄 Small portions!!! Really small and expensive! Did I say it already ? Waiters( especially the old one with black glasses) are cranky, not smiling and so tired( hellloooo???
