Excellent place for Holiday. Great evening spent during our holiday in Castelalmare. Lucky to discover such restaurant, with all the ingredients of a night to remember! Absolutely impeccable treatment of the guests, spacious place with super decoration (too smart the idea to insert a large 3 dimensional screen presenting nonstop Sicily attractions), really excellent food (with all dishes house made) nothing can be asked more. Chef Vitto guided us in a travel through the MEAT tasting flavors, and all team took care about us (MULTUMIM NICOLETA) So much QUALITY for such a reasonable price, if we think we has starters with little chicken hammers, or eggs with truffle & jambon, incredible 1600g Fiorentina on fire made BBQ and house made sausages with fenouille, Super Chianti, etc. In conclusion, so happy for the evening spent in this special place, with NOT ONLY INDREDIBLE MEAT FOOD (done under SLOW FOOD principle) but also human approach and generosity of all staff, beyond professionalism & work well done. This is definitively a Restaurant to come back...

Questa famosa macelleria di Castellamare, la sera, si trasforma in un ristorante capace di offrire ottima qualità a prezzi molto competitivi. Questa realtà, unica nel suo genere (che io sappia), offre all’ospite un’esperienza culinaria veramente nostrana. Trovato per caso googlando, questo ristorante offre una notevole proposta di carni, tagli e combinazioni. Un posto ideale per amanti del genere. Fin dall’ingresso si comprende la cordialità delle persone e l’attenzione rivolta al cliente. Il risultato è un ambiente nel quale ci si rende conto che amore e passione per la carne ed il lavoro, si fondono dando vita a quella esperienza unica di cui sopra. Nella nostra prima visita ho optato per un entrecote (400gr) cottura media al pepe verde: semplicemente fantastica, una delle migliori che abbia gustato. Mia moglie, invece, non particolare amante della carne, ha trovato in un tagliere di formaggi il suo piatto perfetto. Con una nota bottiglia di birra belga (chiedo scusa agli italiani doc ma vivere all’estero ha questo effetto) abbiamo speso circa 45€. Ora, la recensione si potrebbe già chiudere qui, ma i pregi di questo luogo non sono ancora terminati . Anzitutto la possibilità di creare una doggy bag è sempre più praticata da molti ristoranti, ma non a sufficienza per mio modo di vedere. Altra caratteristica distintiva è l’assenza di un coperto. E se questo non bastasse, il cliente viene accolto con un bicchiere di prosecco e lasciato con un amaro offerto dalla casa. Ora, tutto questo vale almeno un plauso e questo, a mio modo di vedere, garantisce che il cliente sia veramente trattato bene e non come il bancomat giornaliero. Da ultimo, mi permetto di dare due consigli: uno ai proprietari ed uno ai clienti. Ai proprietari, invito, quando portate i taglieri al tavolo (siano essi di formaggio od affettati) a spiegare un attimo cosa si va a mangiare. Purtroppo non sempre è chiaro. Ai clienti, invece, invito a riconoscere il lavoro e la cura dei proprietari e dello staff; quale modo migliore lasciando una mancia a fine serata? Anche un euro a testa può dimostrare quanto una simile proposta sia valida e debba...

I have been here a week ago with 2 friends of mine, and what to say: excellent! I did appreciate the welcome bubbles and the courtesy of the staff, the starters (fondue with speck and a pistachio tartare) were really great, but the main thing was the meat, the fiorentina steaks (1 ribeye and 1 t-bone) perfectly cooked and with an amazing taste! I will remember this experience for a while, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had so far. Ok the cheesecake, generous portion. I appreciated that at the end of the dinner after we paid I asked for a glass of water and the woman at the checkout has given us a bottle of water per person, that really helped us in a very warm walking night in...
