Gelateria Artigianale Gaston Bar — Restaurant in Castheddu/Castelsardo

We visited this place for 1st time, and also last time. When we sit outside, after 10 minutes came very unkind waiter, and we ordered 4x Americano coffe and milk. In next 3minutes he delivered on the table 4x Americano coffe with very strange color and smell. The coffee mugs were dirty and had coffee spilled on the outside. Each of them! After that nobody came for next order. When we went inside to the bar for pay, they said higher price (on the drink list was Coffe americano for 1.5 €), but they wanted 2.5€. The problem is not that they wanted to rip us off and rob us, but what was worse was that instead of an argument about why the coffee was more expensive than the order list, the waiter raised his voice, started shouting in Italian instead of English, and said that we had to pay in cash instead of by card. If a normal-minded restaurant owner reads this, he will realize that it is better to close the business and start selling train tickets at the station. His speech, enthusiasm for work and intelligence will be enough for him. Avoid the restaurant...

I randomly stopped at Gaston Bar on a very hot day. I got a latte which was very tasty. I liked the calm atmosphere on the terrace where I had a beautiful view of Castelsardo. The staff was very welcoming, they didn't hurry me up to leave the terrace right after I finished my coffee. Due to the respectful attitude, I came back with my friends on a saturday evening. The owner, Giovanni, is very professional and he explained us a lot about wines. You can see he is pretty knowledgeable. Overall, maximum hospitality....

Siamo stati qui in questo locale 5/6 anni fà ricordavo un posticino adorabile buona musica ottimo gelato avevamo un buon ricordo quello ci ha fatti tornare qui. Ricordavamo cameriera con tatuaggi gentilissima che ci faceva passare delle ottime serate consigliandoci sempre buona birra, padrone (credo) sempre sorridenti e gentili ci faceva sempre lo sconto,addirittura ci faceva restare seduti al tavolo anche se era in chiusura È rimasto tutto uguale ottima musica anche stessi tavolini!!!! Ma la nuova gestione (??) deludente uomo di età avanzata scorbutico di bruttissima presenza che ci ha trattati in modo poco gentile e sbrigativo. Abbiamo chiesto due volte le patatine per l’aperitivo (avevamo già preso 2 spritz) abbiamo fatto bis ma l’uomo in questione ci ha risposto “le patatine si pagano” Mi spiace cancello la vecchia recensione positiva sono costretto a fare questa. Ottima musica ottimo locale tranquillo. Però la gentilezza è la chiave

Forse la prossima volta potrebbe essere più carino nei confronti di persone che spendono soldi...
