We visited the restaurant due to the recommendation of a friend. He said that’s a must if you’re in this this area of the island.
The place has an easy parking area what’s a great value. From outside it doesn’t look too fancy ... I’d like to say that’s more old style and once you’re inside you’ve the same feeling.
It looks like the owner doesn’t change nothing since they opened the business years ago. The decoration, the tables, cutlery, plates ... everything looks old style. I know that the most important thing is the food, but in the end everything counts.
The service was quite nice and polite, the owner was constantly asking us if everything was good and tasty.
We took by his recommendation a set of starters, one portion of red prawns (they were huge and tasty) grilled calamari and oysters. In the end the bill was 160€.
Overvalued? Maybe the set of starters were overvalued 35€/person... I will not recommend to order them. I recommend to be more focus on the prawns, the calamari and oysters.
We wanted to try the lobster but they said it was not the season so the had not. We appreciate that point the didn’t try so seek us frozen lobster as fresh one.

Ordered a starter to share, was brought (and charged for) one each. This was the trio of seafood, two out of three are quite tasty.
Main came and my spaghetti with seafood was tasty enough if overpriced, the problem was with my wife's dinner.
She ordered Astiche (lobster) and what was brought was a whole fish. The owner claimed repeatedly that we ordered Dentice and blamed us for the mixup, even though a quick Google showed us that this was in fact not Dentice and he was lying - proved when the bill came and showed Sea Bream, charged at full price despite the mixup (and in all honesty higher then full price as the weight was definitely overestimated). Experience was made worse by the fact that the fish wasn't even tasty - had been cooked far too...
Read moreWe had the trio of fish for starters between us in case there was too much at 15 euros. It came on one plate. One anchovy, four muscles and some tiny chopped up squid. The lot would have fitted in an espresso cup!! It was oily out of a jar that is sold in the local supermarket. I actually, then, paid 5euro for an anchovy!! I had vongol. Boiled spaghetti with half a pound of butter for it to swim in with maybe five defrosted clam shells. We were the only people in so no atmosphere which was worsened by the terrible bright spotlights...
