Trattoria Le tre palme — Restaurant in Castheddu/Castelsardo

No idea how this place has 4.3 as it is terrible. We waited over 30 minutes for them to even take our order. We noticed they were taking the orders of people who came in after us so we asked them if we could order - we had a toddler who was getting very impatient. They said no, that we had to wait until they were ready. We couldn’t even order drinks. Another 10 minutes and they finally took our order. It took over an hour to actually get our food and when it came all the dishes were cold. I can’t understand why they left them to get cold before bringing them to us. Half the menu wasn’t even available - no fresh fish, no pork, etc. This was the worst meal and restaurant experience I have had in Sardinia and this is my third visit to the island. I do not recommend...

We went the 2 of us and we were surprised that it looks like they have a menu for locals as they are eating things that we could not see in our menu and also they are being served before the foreigners….we asked for some lemon and despite chasing for it never came around…service is dreadful. Food is ok also the portions. Price 25 - 30€ person like everywhere else similar. They also charge you the ‘coberto’ that is the bread they bring to you … 3€.

I'm only writing a review after several visits. The food and the people who work here are simply fantastic. I've eaten here every season, and the quality is consistently excellent. You feel comfortable and enjoy high quality, and everything is perfectly seasoned. We love the fish menu as a starter. 5 Stars for le 3 Palme. I dont know why Google Shows 4 Stars - i selected 5 stars...
