Casa Delle Crispelle — Restaurant in Catania

First time trying crispelle after multiple recommendations I went to this place. Never had it before so cannot judge them based on the Competition, but my experience was very pleasant. I tried basic rice crispelle, crispelle with riccota and crispelle with fish. Loved the basic, amazing snack and street food, not very sweet but filling enough. The riccota one was ok, really full of riccota didn't feel cheated on the amount, but as other sweets here with ricotta, it was without any taste, just Ricotta. The fish one I personally didn't like. I recommend everyone to try it, but not my favourite. All and all really nice place at via plebiscito, so you really feel immersed...

Simply incredible! We were in Catania for 8 days, stayed on the corner on the other street of Casa delle Crispelle, we saw it from our window and fell in love with everything there!❤️ So kind people, they were so happy to see us enjoy it and come for more every few days. Small prices but extreme quality! Please give them a try next time you visit. The crispelle con ricotta are really good. So are the pistachio pastries and the eggplant ones! If you are interested in trying one of typical Catanian fried dough (e.g. filled with ricotta, fried dough in sweet syrup or donut (flour and rice=which makes it chewy), this is a great place.
