Our flight was delayed and so we decided to have lunch here in La Terrazza which is near Terminal C of Catania airport. Though it was not busy, we had to wait 15minutes and even called a waiter just to be attended. The waitress is not so knowledgable of the menu. Two dishes I ordered were from the flashing screen, yet she doesn't even know what I was ordering - "Cos'è? Non c'è l'abbiamo." until I showed/pinpoint should I say what appears on the screen just for her to understand what I was asking. There was no problem with my dish and of my children except for the Gran Paillard (vitello-veal) that I ordered. I repeated a couple of times the term "vitello" meaning veal meat, yet we got the chicken. By the time I complained about what was brought on the table, the waiter (man) told me "Gran Paillard is chicken." Then here comes the ladt who took our order insisting that she repeated twice that there is no veal. In the first place she didn't even know the Gran Paillard existed. She raised her voice and fr that moment I understood she will insist that she did not make any mistake. The rest of the staff laughed making the said waitress feel good of her action. I am not to stoop down to such level, but let us just make it clear the importance of menu & product knowledge and the correct way on approaching customers to meet their needs and render a good service. God...
Read moreFood is ok and beverages too. At arrival the tall waiter puzzled our order and the bill was totally wrong, at departure we had to stop there again and same waiter took order, but forgot to serve the beverages and we needed to remind him. Was more busy sending messages with his smartphone or talking to others, likely locals, who seem to work at the airport. During our second visit toilets had no paper at all and nobody took care. However tables outside in shadow or inside with A/C are ok in case you need to pause or wait for your...

The drinks were perfect and accompanied by free chips for my wife and I. Round 2 she brought out free sandwiches. Had a...
