My wife and I stopped in for a beer and a quick bite on our first night in Catanzaro Lido, expecting just an average pub experience — but we were pleasantly surprised. The burgers were absolutely fantastic, easily among the best we've had, even compared to what we’re used to back in the U.S. The beer selection was solid, and the alternative acoustic music playing in the background added a great atmosphere. Menù ridotto rispetto a quello che mi ricordavo e mi aspettavo, se è una scelta mirata alla qualità non posso che condividere ma toccando questo punto non sono rimasto soddisfatto di ciò che mi è stato servito. Le patate con bacon e cheddar non mi hanno entusiasmato, la pizza o mare fuori scelta per la sua delicatezza è risultata essere pesante (digestione non proprio ottimale), attenzione al lime visto che copriva il sapore delicato del salmone e quello appena percettibile dello spada. Vengo al servizio, locale non pienissimo (giorno feriale) tuttavia abbiamo aspettato 40minuti per 3 porzioni di patate tra l'altro una porzione arrivata errata e poi con tempistiche diverse quindi c'era chi mangiava e chi rimaneva in attesa. Ordiniamo gli habanero bites ma dopo un pò ci viene riferito che sono finiti (bisognerebbe verificare in cucina prima di far prendere gli ordini al tavolo, no?). Il locale ha una parte nuova e rinnovata (bancone ed entrata) che va in contrasto con il mobilio e le sale per cui non mi piace poiché lo stile non è lineare. Altra nota, la musica davvero alta, esco fuori per poter parlare con gli amici e non dover gridare. Penso che il conto sia livellato con l'offerta del posto ma per come ho mangiato lo trovo ingiustificato. 72 euro per 3 antipasti , 2 pizze in pala, 1 hamburger, 1 acqua sono pur sempre...

The service ruined my evening. The food was amazing, we had so much fun, but then when we asked for the bill the waiter didn't give it to us. We wait and wait, tried to catch the waiter a lot of times but she keep ignore us (idk if on purpose or not). After like 25 minutes we standed and went to the register alone and asked for the bill. Also the bill wasn't correct.
