Grancafè — Restaurant in Cecina

after looking on the menu at the entrance of this restaurant we took a seat inside at the table with expectation that the menu was more various, it was not so we decided after maybe 5 minutes we got inside to get up and walked to other restaurants nearby, a man came running towards us outside and it turned out to be the employee of this restaurant asking us in the middle of other people in a very rude and respect less way why we walked out the restaurant, my wife my daughter and me suprised by his poor behavior told him we couldn't find anything suitable to eat on the menu and decided to leave, he said the table was set by the waiter so he was angry we walked away, I told him there were only a few empty glasses/cutlery on the table but all we touched was the menu book, I visited many countries worldwide due to my job, ate in many places, in only few restaurants I got up and left without ordering seeing the menu, but no any staff until today of any restaurant has ever run after me like this place did questioning me on the street why I left that place, this is very disrespectful what this restaurants employee did to us as a customer, he has no any right to do this!! is this employee so poorly educated that he does not think that we could visit this restaurant another time? and has this restaurant dropped that much low to do this? this will be a very bad memory for us from our holiday in...

Great food, service and atmosphere.

The location is perfect to have a romantic dinner date in the sunset with some chilled beach vibes.

My wife an me got there in the evening without reservation and we’re lucky to get an amazing table.

The service could speak good english, was super professional, attentive and proactive which made the experience so much better.

Improvable: the Lasagna tasted good but looked pretty loveless the potatoes were super dry and not enjoyable - I couldn‘t finish them … and I always...

Attirato dalla splendida location, ho deciso di festeggiare,con la mia famiglia, un avvenimento importante, ma aimè il buongiorno si vede dal mattino..... 15 min per avere solo il menù che è arrivato solo dopo che mi sono recato a reclamare al banco. Dopodichè oridinate le bevande, mi viene servita una bottiglia di prosecco " Casa Gheller" senza secchiello ghiaccio, aspetto 10 minuti pensando che avrebbero provveduto, ma anche qui mi è ritoccato alzarmi andare al banco e reclamare. Arriviamo alle pietanze...... una tagliata, due fritture, una grigliata ed un'insalata di mare.... il tutto viene servito senza le salviettine rinfrescanti, ovviamente per averle nell'immediatezza considerati i tempi d'attesa del personale mi sono rialzato la TERZA volta. Ed ora arriva il bello.... mia moglie remore di un insalata di mare ordinata due settimane prima in un'altra occasione,nell'assaggiarla ha notato la presenza dell'aceto nel condimento facendo presente l'anomalia al cameriere. Di lì in poi apriti cielo...... Non era possibile secondo loro perche loro le servono condite, allora facciamo presente che a questo punto probabilmente il piatto è stato servito in maniera errata la volta precedente.....NO NON E' POSSIBILE dice il responsabile di sala o Chef....neanche se in cucina avessero la scala di montaggio. Dulcis in fundo, chiedo il conto e pago senza ricevere alcun dispiacere da parte loro per l'inconveniente, saluto con un arrivederci ed il signore alla cassa mi risponde... SPERIAMO MAI PIU'. QUINDI X LORO IL...
