This restaurant represents a dying breed - a tad old-fashioned in its furnishings, but wonderfully welcoming.

Let's start with the menu that is written on an A4 sheet of paper (no QR code) with no prices! No worries though as the prices are fair and honest and are discovered when paying the bill at the cash register. Quite riveting though to figure out the scrawl on the sheet! When a certain dish runs out, a line is drawn through it. Really rather efficient.

Then there is the couple running the place who are very kind and helpful. Service is efficient and unpushy, waiting times are short and the portions are exceptionally generous.

The octopus dish was delicious, soft to the bite and basking in a rich sauce with mussels. The basket of home-made bread 🍞 proved to be very useful to mop up the thick octopus 🐙 sauce. The oven-roasted potatoes were well cooked and flavoured with sage. The pasta all'arrabbiata was hot 🔥 and again a spicy joy for the palate.

If you want to taste the real tuscanian cuisine made not for tourists but for curious people, you have to come here and try several dishes. Spaghetti and see foods taste so fresh, you’ll have the feeling as it would be prepared some minutes ago. Our favourites are all pastas, tuscan minestrone and tuna steak in sesame coat with onion”chutney”. An English speaking great waitress can help to choose. The place is simple, nice and clean and prices are more than value for money. We were here in autumn 2019 and summer 2022, we had the same great experience all three times. I hope we can eat here again if come to Bibbona next time. Thank you Bar Sport...

La ricerca attraverso i social, se fatta con criterio e attenta e meticolosa osservazione dei giudizi, può dare ottime soddisfazioni. Bar Sport ha medie altissime anche su altre piattaforme tali da indurre in una facile e quasi obbligata scelta, provarlo!!! Il locale si trova in una stradina tranquilla dove è facile trovare anche parcheggio. Accogliente al punto giusto anche se sconta la sua origine di bar che hanno influito sulla sistemazione interna dei locali, ma ciò è solo un piccolo dettaglio. Si mangia cucina espressa su tavoli in plastica apparecchiati con tovagliette usa e getta sistemati, almeno d'estate, in una piccola verandina e in un piccolo cortile adiacente.... qualche coperto anche sul marciapiede. Il menù è molto ricco ma comprende solo primi, secondi e dolci scritti a penna su un foglio che cambia giornalmente. unica pecca che non sono indicati i prezzi. La qualità è veramente alta. In particolare mi riferisco ai piatti assaggiati.... caciucco, frittura, gnocchi al ragù e pasta al ragù di tonno con panatura. Veramente spettacolari. Il servizio è molto buono, in linea con l'impostazione del locale, personale molto cordiale e gentile con particolare riferimento ai coniugi che gestiscono l'attività. Il conto è ancora meglio di tutto il resto... 6 caciucco, uno gnocco al ragù, una Pennetta al ragù di tonno, 3 fritture, 3 insalatine, 5 dolci e amari vari alla fine.... totale 11 coperti.. totale 190€... poco più del prezzo di un fastfood pet mangiare veramente bene....
