Bar Ancora — Restaurant in Chiavari

Despite the fact there was no menu in english available, we did translate and ordered our appetizer to share - very good home marinated salmon, following with dinner and drinks. Staff was very unprofessional !!! We got bread and 3 drops of olive oil..... When the appetizer came we had no plates to eat on, when I asked for plates they brought one plate for my husband than needed to ask for one more for me, we waited for an hour or so for diner was nowhere near to be served, nor anyone asked if we would like another drink, waitresses just disappeared..... In the meantime about half an hour in to our sitting time, there was a couple seated next to our table and attended promptly as well served dinner before our was even seen on the horizon..... I went to the bar asking for my check trying to cancel our dinner but they were insisting it will be just a min ..... we waited another few minutes but it looked like our order never made it to the kitchen! We left money for drinks and appetizer and we left upset ana hungry. The worse experience in whole Itally stay- we are here for 17 days already, visited multiple towns and that was first!!! very...

Ci siamo stati una domenica a pranzo e ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo! Trovato per caso mentre eravamo di passaggio a Chiavari, abbiamo trovato un locale davvero fantastico! Innanzitutto, esteticamente è davvero una chicca: curatissimo e grazioso, con interni dai soffitti a volte di pietra ed esterni sui toni di contrasto bronzo-acqua marina. Moderno, lineare e davvero molto gradevole! Il menù va detto che ci ha davvero ispirati e abbiamo avuto un po' di difficoltà a scegliere perché le proposte sembravano tutte ottime, dai club sandwiches alle insalate, dai primi ai secondi che uniscono una cucina più tradizionale ad abbinamenti contemporanei e super sfiziosi! Alla fine, abbiamo optato per un fritto misto, ottimo, buona la porzione, leggero e per nulla unto, accompagnato da una tzatziki freschissima e il polpo su letto di insalata, fresco, morbido e davvero gustoso! Veramente buono anche lo spritz che ho preso; era da molto che non ne bevevo uno così! Il personale ci ha stupiti molto: tutti ragazzi come noi, gentilissimi e di una simpatica unica, ci siamo trovati benissimo ed oltre ad essere molto veloci ed efficienti, hanno creato un'atmosfera davvero accogliente e calorosa! Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è in linea con i vari altri locali fronte mare della zona, anzi. Mi sento davvero di consigliare molto volentieri questo piccolo ma stupendo ristorantino, dal cui esterno potrete godere della vista...
