Al Bersagliere — Restaurant in Chioggia

I have never been treated so rude in my life! When we walked by, the waiters talked us into sitting down and having dinner. Then, because we did not know what to order within 2 minutes after sitting down, we were completely ignored. Only after our second request our order was taken, a question about a slight change in the sides was denied! Food was average, almost no spices and salt at all! The worst part was when we wanted to pay by card, the owner did not say one word during the process and THREW the receipt in my hand!? I don't know what kind of problem they have, maybe they hate foreigners in general. Terrible,...

Mi aspettavo di più. Su consiglio di un collega domenica 13 gennaio siamo andati a pranzo in questo ristorante. L'aspetto una volta entrato è abbastanza positivo, camerieri vestiti bene e locale curato. Ci sediamo e ordiniamo 4 antipasti e 4 secondi di pesce, una insalata, acqua e vino. Arriva subito acqua e pane dopo 10 minuti arrivano 3 antipasti misti, l'ultimo antipasto (Granseola) arriva dopo circa 15 minuti (gli altri avevano già finito)..e il vino dov'è? Chiediamo nuovamente il vino e questo arriva sempre con molta calma e con le scuse.. (vabbè) sara stata una svista. Passano 45 minuti (completamente abbandonati) arrivano i secondi (forse i tempi andrebbero accorciati considerato che nel locale ci saranno state 20 persone???). Nel frattempo entra in sala la cuoca (almeno da cuoca era vestita) con secchio e moccio e inizia a lavare i pavimenti dove probabilmente era caduta un forchetta sporca (non si fa durante un pranzo)... la cosa bella è che ha preso un tovagliolo da un tavolo e buttato a terra ha iniziato ad asciugare... esausti ordiniamo il caffè a patto che arrivi subito (tralasciando i dolci per paura che arrivassero dopo 30 minuti). Dulcisis in fundo (erano già passate 2 ore e mezza) andiamo alla casa e cosa succede? Il proprietario SIg. Loris (70 anni circa) al computer (forse era la prima volta che lo usava) c'ha messo altri 15 minuti a preparare il conto sotto l'attenta visione del cameriere Giorgio che gli dettava le pietanze ordinate (hanno anche provato a farmi pagare l'insalata che non è mai arrivata al tavolo...) A parte tutto questo carosello, la qualità del cibo è mediocre e non appaga i 45 euro spesi... NON CI...

One of the good places to eat the granceola crab, a local dish. We had a lovely time at this restaurant for a Saturday lunch. The service was efficient, kind, fast, and food was delicious. We got the crab and mussels for our appetizer and the crab pasta for our main dish. Top it off with sorbetto and coffee and you can sleep well in the afternoon. They really need to fix their cash...
