The place is really prominently placed at the main street of Chioggia and was actually recommended to us by our B&B. But I was really disappointed. You get your O rings in a plastic bag on the table. The overall appearance is more that of a cheap cantina. They have a menu in Italian, English, German and Spanish which should already show that it is a tourist trap. A lot of the food is just unfrozen which is honestly stated in the menu. So I asked for the fresh grilled fish. But first we got really l risotto with scampi and zucchini. The risotto was alright but the scampi were also unfrozen. Then arrived the fish which was completely overcooked and dry - the poor fish had to die a second time on the grill. Overall a very disappointing experience. And as a bonus there was dirt in my wine glass.
I can really not recommend the place. Go to El Gato or any other...

Read moreFrom the very beginning service was very poor, after waiting a few minutes to be seated one of the waiters shouted at us across the restaurant and pointed to the direction of our table and left us to find the table for ourselves. Following this we were given bread and olive oil, we then asked one of the waiters if we could have a plate so we could poor out some olive oil to use for dipping, he told us to just ask someone else as it wasn’t his job. Food was ok but the service really ruined the experience for us, would...
