Osteria Ai Coppi — Restaurant in Chioggia

SECRET RECOMMENDATION *

This Osteria is a very good place to stay. The owner and his team have a lot of passion and heart for their guests. The food is made traditionally but with a modern touch. I tried the Spaghetti Nero Vongole pomodoro. They did not have an Insalata Mista, but they offered me a house made salad which was the perfect choice. The Osteria is a hidden place with great Italien cuisine. Better than other touristic places.

Good pizza and a nice atmosphere, along with very friendly staff. Seating was a bit cramped but nonetheless pleasant. My main reason for refraining from giving it five stars was due to the fact that we tried to order juice, of any type, to which they said they had none. We then tried to order sprite/7up, which they also did not have. Finally, we asked for lemon soda, which once again it turned out they did not have. Finally ended up with bubbly water with...

Very good food, quite small portions compaired to some other resturants, but filling enough. Shared pasta vongole and scallops in pumpinsauce, so tasty both of them!
