Mastro Titta — Restaurant in Civitavecchia

Service good, food meh... It's a very average restaurant. The best thing about it is the view, and the service is relatively good. The atmosphere is kind of cool, and in the evenings it's super busy. The food is just average - not bad, but not great. I ordered some pomodoro/basilico penne with mozzarella and I could honestly make it better at home myself. There was like no flavor, and it was just super plain and average.

The cost was average for Italy - an appetizer, a glass of wine, bottle of water, pasta dish and fried fish came to 40 euro total.

Wouldn't turn people away from going, but would say there are better places to go...

Staying at very close BnB, Casa Vacanze- Peperosa, after returning from 11-day cruise. This was great tasting pizza, and the order taker spoke English well to help us decide what we would try. Bought pizza for 4, and grabbed a bottle of wine next door at small grocer. What a great night dinner...

… a Civitavecchia x lavoro, vicino al carcere ci consigliano la pizzeria di Mastro Titta, che avevo intravisto passando Il locale è un po’ ageè, e pieno di mosche, ma la pizza alla pala si presenta bene, poca la scelta anche se non è proprio tardi 13.30 Prendiamo dei pezzi di amatriciana, quattro stagioni e dei fritti, una mozzarella in carrozza ed un supplì Onestamente mi aspettavo di più, la pizza era discretamente buona, ma i fritti lasciavano molto a desiderare, il supplì asciutto e rifritto, mentre la mozzarella in carrozza era un tramezzino con un po’ di mozzarella tremendamente panoso e anche lui...
