As a foodie travelling around the world you have to experience pizza in Italy……
Pleasant surroundings and friendly service although I wouldn’t sit outside as everyone else was smoking
My first pizza was cooked perfectly and the spicy sausage was a good balance, lovely crunchy crust and very tasty
My second visit I requested a hybrid with advice from the waiter not standard on the menu but using a base pizza with additional mushrooms and garlic seasoned with picante chillies
I’m sorry but what a difference….
The mushrooms were from a tin! I expected fresh
not a sign of fresh garlic either but swimming in garlic oil
The centre was very soggy and I scraped the topping off and eat the crust with it
The restaurant wasn’t busy so that’s not any excuse
By the time I’d finished I was so thirsty, the use of salt excessive
Perhaps a ploy to get more drink orders ?
