UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. STANDARD FOOD AND LAME SERVICE.

My partner and I came for lunch around 2 pm. We deliberately choose this resto just because it was the nearest to our parking spot and I was very hungry. The building seems clean and modern. A nice spot over looking the sea. However we came without reservation and we did mention that if it’s full it’s okay, we will understand. The waiter who arrange the sitting place actually allowed and gave us a place to sit outdoor for 2 person. At the same time I can see that the restaurant was only 80% full cos it’s almost past lunch time. We sat and the other waiter came to take our order. After ordering, the waiter came with a welcome bread and drinks. Meanwhile, my partner permit to go to the toilet. I sat alone and enjoy my drink while looking around. Then, a man came to me and told me “this table is under reservation”. I was a bit confused due to his tone and English pronunciation. So I thought, did he just asked me if he need to make reservations to eat here? Cos actually I saw him coming from the gate with other 2 person. Maybe he is also a guest? I asked him again to repeat the sentences in English. He told me “this table is under reservation, you have to leave”. I was shocked. I was in the middle of having my drink. He looked at me again and said “you have to leave”. I put my glass and told him that a waiter allow me to sit here so why don’t asked him? At the same time, that waiter walked pass in front of us and when he asked him, I can understand in Italian that the waiter told him that he had organized a table for them. I also found out that rude man, is actually one of the owner and manager of the resto. Funny though, that he doesn’t even bother to look back at me and say sorry whatsoever.

What’s bother me more is because, in fact, I saw him coming from the beach and passing my table. I saw him looking around the resto picking a table for a while, for the other 2 guest. Now, logically if my table is literally the reserved one, he would directly come towards and not mingling around right? He did not realized that I saw everything. I saw him going around. Second, even though my table is the one, isn’t it more polite if he would just asked his staff (the waiter who is in charge to organize the table) before coming directly towards me? I was left numb. What an attitude. Third, i am not new to “dine out and waiter give a wrong table”. It happens many time! And all the time they would explain, apologize and show us which table I shall move. I would move without a problem. But that man doesn’t even bother to tell me to which table I shall move. I can see there are also 3 other table that’s empty but which one I have to move? There are also another couple that’s coming after us without reservation and sit next to me. So, why he only rudely told me “you must leave?”

If he assumed that I might have just sit casually before waited to be seated, doesn’t he noticed that I had the welcome bread, the utensil set and holding my glass of drink. It’s clearly a sign that I have been served. I did not just sit there if other way. I found that the way they leave me without any explanation or excuses is very unpleasant and rude!

I really want to leave the resto immediately but I decided to stay because we have ordered and I can see that the kitchen was busy. I don’t want to prolong the problem.

Bad decision. Because the food came 30 minutes afterwards. The taste was okay but certainly not the one worth to wait for more than 30 min. Then, when we finished our meal, they asked us if we want to order coffee. I thought, it’s just a coffee, how long can it be?

Bad decision (again). The waiter forgot our coffee. He came 2 times to asked what is our order (oh my God, it’s just 2 espresso!) so we have to wait for another 20 min. Jeez! This time, the waiter did say sorry. But, sorry seems to be the hardest word. I would never come here again or referred anyone to come here. Especially when you are tourist or stranger...

Wir waren als Gruppe für eine Woche Gäste im Restaurant. Wir haben ein Frühstücksbüfet gehabt, das Büffet enthielt vorallem Süssgebäck, etwas Schinken, Salami und eine sorte Käse. Brot gab es kein richtiges, nur aufgeschnitenes Baguett welches bereits ziemlich trocken war, zudem gab es Filterkaffe, den ersten Tag war der Kaffe dunkelbraum und durchsichtig, nach mehrmaligem reklamieren bekamen wir dann auch richtig schwarzen Kaffe, naja war leider immer noch Filterkaffe. Während dem Frühstück konnten wir und sogar spegeleier oder Omelete bestellen welches im Sall für uns frisch gemacht wurde, das war toll. Leider wurde es etwas mühsahm wenn Esswaren vom Büffet aufgegessen wurden, da wir mehrmals die bedienung errinnen mussten das sie doch bitte Nachschub bringen sollen. Wie gesagt wir waren eine Woche da und jeden Tag spielte sich das gleich ab, unsere Bedürfnisse waren jeden Tag gleich und da würde man doch denken das die Kelnerinnen/Kellner vielleicht mal nachfragen oder sogar etwas mehr auftischen, dies war leider nicht der Fall. Am Abend haben wir nicht von der Karte bestellt, wir konnten die Vor- und Hauptspeisen jeweils aus 3 Gerichten auswählen, dies hat gut geklappt, das Essen war ebenfalls gut, die kalten Salate als Hauptgericht waren leider nicht immer sehr Geschmacksvoll. Die Bedienung war nicht zufriedenstellend, wie gesagt man musste alles 3 mal sagen bis wir bekommen haben was wir wollten zum schluss kam es dann soweit das die Klenerin uns ignoriert hat und die Speisen nur noch auf den Tisch "geworfen" (überspitzt gesagt)hat, die langen Wartezeiten habe ich ganz vergessen, teilweise nach der Vorspeise 20-30 Min gewartet schon nur bis die Teller abgeräumt wurden. Im grossen und ganzen haben wir uns häuffig aufgeregt, es schein uns als wäre die Bedienung überfordert, trotz wenig Gäste ( es hätte noch viel mehr Plätze im Restaurant gehabt). Deshalb...

À FUIR Y allant une première fois le soir où nous avons demandé d’être en terrasse pour profiter de cette « magnifique vue » ils nous ont sèchement dit NON on pensait que c’était complet et qu’il restait que de la place à l’intérieur tu parles y’avait des personnes dehors et ce n’étais pas du tout complet donc première incompréhension ? Des gens sont dehors mais nous on nous dit non ? Bref le repas était correct mais rien de ouf non plus.Et le service déplorable que du personnel tirant la gueule on commande une bouteille de vin on est obligé de la demande car on reçoit l’entrée avant même l’apéritif bref. Le lendemain nous revenons en ayant réservé le petit déjeuner qui coûte quand même 15€/ personne qui est excessif à mon goût mais bon on est en bord de mer donc on se dit c’est normal, une fois arrivé déjà les serveurs tire la gueule pour pas changer de la veille on demande à manger dehors elle nous répond non ce n’est que à l’intérieur et bah super pour profiter des vacances et du soleil en intérieur bref on se dit bon bah pas le choix vu qu’on a réservé et là 5 min après des gens qui demandent pour dehors encore une fois elle répond nan et 2 min après d’autres gens qui arrivent et qui s’installent dehors sans demander pour le petit déjeuner et ont leur dit rien ? C’est du gros foutage de gueule bref déplorable. Ah oui et j’oubliais le petit déjeuner plus de lait personne n’en remet 3 pauvre tranche de fromage et de charcuterie ça ne...
