Very disappointed with the service. The place is wonderful and the atmosphere, however, the service is a disaster. I came alone, I asked two waiters if I could order, they both told me to wait for a 'colleague'. After half an hour, I moved close to the entrance and again waited 15 minutes for someone to approach me. I ordered truffle soup, which is a simple porridge. of corn flour and it costs 18 e. I asked them to save me a table inside because later my family will come to have lunch together. They didn't deign to let me know that a table was free, so I went in and sat down by myself. When my family arrived, about 10 minutes later, they said the kitchen was already closed. Of course they didn't remember to tell me when the kitchen closes. The vibes of the restaurant are the best I’ve found in the Dolomites. It is nice and comfortable but it would be helpful to make a reservation as it is relatively small and can get crowded. The food was very good even though there are limited options. My only gripe is that the beef tartare was a bit bland and could’ve used some salt and pepper. The steak on a hot board was a nice touch. The tiramisu was good and a bit different from past tiramisu’s but i respect the creativity. There was a small incident where the fire in the heater got a bit out of control but the waiters reacted quickly and we felt safe in their hands. My only issue with the restaurant was the steps down to the bathroom. It is steep, windy, and narrow, therefore it was hard and felt dangerous to walk down. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping here...

Really bad way of selling menu’s. We sat down on the terrace and ordered a drink and wanted to eat something. The menu was very simple and not much to choose from. So we ordered the special which was not on the menu but was recommended by the waiter. A Black Angus steak, for two persons. It was served on a hot stone with some very few small potatos and very few pieces of vegetables. When we wanted to pay we were flabbergasted! This menu cost 80 euro’s, for a nice piece of meat with some potato’s and vegetables. It is outragious that they didn’t mention the price before and charged us this amount for an average meal. To me this looks like a scam! Please...
