This restaurant is a highlight in Canazei. It has the most friendly stuff in the whole town. At times of being completely overrun by people trying to get a table during new years eve, they showed creativity and kindness to try to help all desperate people trying to find a place to eat. This was so exceptional compared to all other restaurants here. And I can assure, I meant "ALL", because we tried to get a table in all other restaurants and were more than often being rejected, while tables being empty. The food is good. Even during this stressful night the penne were al dente along with delightful safran. The pizza is huge and very tasty. Try the various oils they provide. La Telia was hands down the best restaurant we visited during our stay in Italy. We were blown away by the food, especially the pizza which we both agreed was the best we’ve ever had. And as a New Yorker, I do not say that lightly! The burratta was fresh, the pizza crust was flaky. The spaghetti was incredible, creamy and smooth sauce, crispy and salty pancetta. A cozy restaurant offering delicious food, with an exceptional pizza dough—one of the best I’ve tried in the region. The staff is very friendly, and the service is impressively quick. However, the acoustics of the space are poorly designed, making the room extremely loud and conversations nearly impossible without raising your voice. The noise level can even become uncomfortable, as I noticed some guests covering their ears.
