Me and my girlfriend give 5 stars but we would rather give 10. It all starts with the friendly staff who make even you as a tourist feel welcome. Make sure to reserve a table or go early because there are limited amount of tables. Because the food is really good, this place is always crowded. Regardless, the atmosphere in this family restaurant is pleasant and utterly Italian. We ate here 2 different days during our holiday and I can confidently say that in my opinion this is the very best restaurant in Riva. My personal favorite is the lasagna, the sauce is delicious and the pasta has a very good taste. But the Penne and Spaghetti with meat sauce are also superb. I wouldn't want to forget the fish with delicious potatoes and salad, or the amazing tiramisu. All that, for a really good price. I consider the food very affordable for the quality you're getting. Siamo stati a cena pochi giorni fa. Di positivo possiamo segnalare la cortesia e la gentilezza del personale, tuttavia la parte di ristorazione, a cominciare dalle proposte del menù, non è il loro forte. Forse il locale nasce proprio come salsamenteria e locale da aperitivi, non so, ma tale dovrebbe rimanere. Ipotizziamo anche, o speriamo, che il locale trovi la maggior parte della sua clientela fra turisti stranieri e che quindi debba accontentare loro, poiché a parte un risotto allo speck e una polenta cin goulash non è presente nessun altro piatto anche solo vagamente locale (mentre i cartelli all ingresso promettono gastronomia trentina). E dire che siamo nell'alto Garda che avrebbe tanto da offrire! Ad esempio, mai prima d'ora avevamo trovato come primo piatto in un ristorante SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO E PEPERONCINO...poi lasagne ALLA BOLOGNESE, cotoletta, fritto di mare....Noi siamo stati in imbarazzo su cosa ordinare. Per non parlare del vino: io ho ordinato un calice di Marzemino locale, e dal mio tavolo ho visto che mi veniva versato da una bottiglia aperta sotto al locale, bottiglia di cui non mi è stata neanche fatta vedere l'etichetta nè assaggiare nè niente. Non so cosa mi sia stato servito poiché non mi è stato dato modo di vedere la bottiglia ed essendo incredula vistovisto che non mi era mai capitato prima non sto neanche a chiedere, quindi vado sulla fiducia verso i titolari. Ripeto, eravamo in tre e tutti in imbarazzo. Insomma, a meno che la scelta sia voluta di rivolgersisolo su un target di stranieri, consigliamo di rivedere il menu proposte, e alcuni dettagli anche nella parte di location dedicata al ristorante, caotico e con molta polvere. Had a most wonderfull diner here. The place felt cozy, the seating was comfortable. Also the tables were set out spaciously, so the place did not feel stuffed, however you may want to do a reservation, as there weren't many tables. The service was fast and nice.
