My visit here was absolutely terrible. To start from the beginning: we were seated somewhere in the corner of the restaurant. And then we waited for at least 15mins, but the waitress didn't think of coming anywhere close to hand us the menus, until one of us was going to the front and asked her for those. Them, what every vegetarian should know: there are no vegetarian starters. I try to avoid meat, but since it was not possible here, I ordered he Carpaccio anyway and then some spinach gnocchi with tomato sauce afterwards. After some time, one of the ordered starters arrived, but the Carpaccio did not. Asking for it, we were told that it would be coming soon. So we waited and waited. Over one hour after arriving at the restaurant, the waitress came again, bringing two main courses. However, this was not at all what we ordered in the beginning so she took it away again. Some 15mins later she came again, but now she brought our main courses, not the missing Carpaccio. When we tried asking her for it, she was even arguing that we got food now and the right food. Actually, it was not even the right food, but at least close: the ordered Linguini came with a meat sauce and not the mushroom sauce (I hope this never happens to a vegetarian!!), the spinach gnocchi came with butter instead of tomato sauce, and the goulash came with polenta instead of dumplings. The side salad that was ordered as well, was forgotten. It came quote fast then, when we all had just finished our meals. And this "mixed salad" contained nothing but green salad. Not sure if "mixed" was supposed to mean that leaves and sauce were mixed together and not coming separately. In the end I left the restaurant still hungry, very dissatisfied and quite angry.
I also have to say: it seems to be possible to order the Carpaccio. A couple at the neighbouring table ordered it and it came in like 10mins. They were Italian, we not. Not sure if that maybe made a difference.
I will definitely never ever go into this...
Brave...
Read moreA nice place to experience the friendly Italian art to be. I had to go back again for the marvelous panna cotta. The guy there remember me and knew what I like to have. Very friendly personal. The high light: the kitchen is one level down so nobody hear any hectic of the kitchen during dinning (possible to watch the cook working in the kitchen bei walking down the street). The "Sacher Cake" could be less dry though good taste. But being in Italy means all about traditional...
