The staff was having a hard time. No smile, long faces, deep sighs and overal a depressing atmosphere. On ordering we asked for specifics of what was in the food. The waitress sighed very deep and gave an answer in italian meaning "different fish and mussels" (yes I understood, but that was not the question, the question was what kind of fish...). After the unsatisfying answer I decided to go for something else. I had the risotto with scampi. The scampi was great, however the risotto made me feel sick instantly, a matter of taste I presume. However, when I said that I would like to get a new plate to eat the salad which we ordered for the table, and said that I didnt like the risotto, she looked at me, took away my plate and didn't return until we asked for a plate the 2nd time. No "what don't you like" or any other kind of service. Furthermore, 2 of the people on my table ordered pizza, they had it halfway finished when the other dishes arrived. When we said that it wasn't nice that they had to eat alone, the waiter looked at us slightly irritated and a minute later the other food arrived. On paying I expressed my disappointment in the service, but the woman only looked at me and took my credit card. A complete disappointment. The pizza was good though,...
Read moreWould give 0 stars if possible, however we did not eat there, so my comment is merely on the hospitality (or lack there of!). We arrived with our baby in a stroller and stood in line behind another couple who the waiter was about to assign a table. Right behind us another couple had arrived almost at the same time as us. Another waiter (the owner I think) purposely overlooked us and adressed the people behind us, asking how many they needed seats for. We tried to tell her that we needed a seat for 2 and the baby. She just sort of waved us of and gesticulated that with the stroller we could only sit inside. There were several free tables outside, I only saw one table with a “reserved” sign on it. So we were first of all ignored, and second of all not really welcome because of our stroller/baby. So we left, and they didn’t really seem to care/notice. So if you have children, you are not...
Read moreMy wife and I have been to Italy on 12 holidays in different locations and always loved going out for meals. On this occasion we were met with two very ignorant staff, first they ignored us when we were trying to get a table and when others arrived after us also looking for a table they were seated with no booking and we were left standing there until they had to give us a table witch was free from the time we arrived, after we were seated they gave us the menu we decided to leave. We have never been treated so bad in all the times we travelled to anywhere on holidays. From previous reviews they seem to have lost of issues in this restaurant. If it was possible to give no...
