La pergola — Restaurant in Comunità montana della valle Camonica

We went to La Pergola and had a pizza. The pizza smelt burnt and there was an overall smell of burnt food in the whole restaurant. But this was not the worst - not having finished the pizza yet (still two pieces on my plate, cuttlery wide open) the waiter came to the table and asked me if I have finished. I answered almost APOLOGITECALLY that I am still eating and he started to gesticulate with his hands that I should finish quickly!! How rude! If you want to be impolitely kicked out of the restaurant - this is is the spot!! On our way out of the restaurant we saw some people quickly finishing their glasses of wine while STANDING at the table as they were already sent out! If the food is average, at least let the customers finish...

Best restaurant visited on my trip in Italy so far! A couple bites in and we already decided to return for dinner the next day. Absolutely delicious! We expected the prizes to be way higher considering the amazing quality and taste, but it was fairly cheap and the delivery was quicker than expected! 100% worth the food-coma afterwards. The pizza might've been the best pizza I've every tasted! All different flavours came together perfectly. And the ice cream was amazing! Such cozy atmosphere as well....

Sono stato in questo ristorante due volte e, in entrambi i casi, ne sono rimasto soddisfatto!

La prima volta ho ordinato alcune pizze da asporto.

Ho trovato un ambiente pulito e accogliente; il personale è stato molto cordiale e disponibile, tanto da essere scherzoso e giocoso con il mio nipotino di due anni.

Ho ordinato le pizze telefonicamente e quando sono andato a ritirarle erano appena sfornate. Non ci sono stati, quindi, ritardi nonostante il locale fosse affollato!

Le pizze erano buone, leggere e non troppo spesse, cotte bene, con i bordi non bruciati!

La seconda volta, invece, ho prenotato un tavolo per cena.

La sala è calda e ben arredata, con uno stile tipico dei rifugi di montagna, con legno po'dappertutto. Inoltre, se si sceglie un tavolo vicino alle finestre ci si affaccia sulla suggestiva pista nera di Ponte di Legno, illuminata, d'inverno, anche la sera!

Confermo anche la cordialità e gentilezza del personale, così come la velocità del servizio!

Ho ordinato uno dei piatti, forse, più caratteristici: la zingonia, ovvero degli straccetti di carne avvolti in un bastone di legno (tipo spiedino) e, volendo, accompagnati con del lardo!

Ho ordinato anche delle patatine fritte e un mix di dolci (torta sacher, torta di mele, strudel e salame al cioccolato).

Il cibo è molto buono, dalla carne ben cotta e saporita ai dolci artigianali, passando per le patatine che non sembravano essere quelle surgelate!

Questa piacevole serata si è conclusa con un conto tutto sommato equilibrato e il caffè...
