We stopped by Jacky Bar in Limone sul Garda and had a really pleasant meal with great service throughout.
We kicked things off with the bruschetta – it was decent, but the bread could’ve been a little crunchier, and it was missing that hit of garlic and fresh basil to really bring it to life.
The tortellini panna e prosciutto was a highlight. The tortellini itself was perfectly cooked, and the sauce had a nice creamy texture. It was a touch on the bland side, though – maybe swapping in speck would’ve added a bit more depth.
We also tried the lasagna, which was beautifully balanced. Not too rich, no overpowering flavours – just a well-made, comforting dish.
To round off the meal, we had a sorbetto al limone and an affogato al caffè – light, classic, and the perfect way to finish.
The setting was lovely, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A great spot to relax and...
Read moreThe only good thing about this bad restaurant, is it's setting. The waiters are uninterested and impolite. My daughter ordered a lemon ice tea, which is meant to be an ice tea green, but instead it was an unknown brand with a very bad taste. She ordered a prosciutto funghi pizza with an extra egg on top, and asked for it to be well baked. It came runny and fluid, totally uneatable. She commented the waiter about it, that is, they all suddenly ran out of English, so the third waiter took it back. And brought it back, completely unchanged...the mushrooms on it were not fresh, but from a pot, with a funky, bad taste. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara and never had one this bad: the meat component which needs to be either guanciale or pancetta was obviously something else, it tasted like ham. No one here seems to care anything about the restaurant, customers or food quality, so to...
Read moreA place that should be avoided In the stunning setting of Limone sul Garda, this restaurant stands out for all the wrong reasons. From the moment we arrived, we were met with an attitude that fell far below the bare minimum of respect. My wife, my daughter, and I were denied entry under the pretense that there were no available tables — despite several clearly empty ones. We chose to leave quietly, without confrontation. But then came the most disturbing part: the man felt compelled to add that they had no halal dishes to offer — even though we had simply asked for pasta, pizza, fish… Nothing that would warrant such a comment. This wasn’t just unprofessional. It was exclusionary, veiled in casual prejudice — a mindset that has no place in a destination meant to welcome travelers from all walks of life. Avoid...
