The food is very good, the views from the restaurant are beautiful, but that's about it. The customer service is terrible. They open after a break at 5:30 PM – we checked the website. Our 10-year-old son is on the beach, and he's had a stomach ache for an hour. The food is terrible, and since he's a picky eater, we have nothing to feed him. So we go half an hour early to avoid the wait, following the restaurant's sign on the beach side, up the high stairs, through the parking lot, and across a beautiful green lawn. There are two other entrances to the restaurant, one from the street and one from the side. Finally, after a long wait, we enter and try to sit at a table, of which there are plenty, but to our surprise, a very rude waitress in a ponytail shoos us away and tells us to get in line at another entrance. Firstly, if three entrances are open without any other information, it's their responsibility to let people in from all of them. Secondly, I would understand if it were during normal hours when it was fully booked and we'd have to wait for a table... but not when, even after everyone who was waiting entered, maybe a sixth of the tables were taken... so why wait that half hour before opening? After us, they tried to shoo away another family who also entered from a different direction, but they failed and served them. How can anyone in the 21st century treat customers like they did during communism? The manager doesn't know how to manage. We travel all over the world and have never had to write a review like this. And while staying at Lake Garda, we came across a completely professional restaurant where we could happily leave a generous tip. Unfortunately, this one isn't one of them. I cook better food on a Tuesday at home than this restaurant. If I’m eating the food only for sure it is not anything above a 4 and a 3.5 might be accurate. Frozen entrecôte with frozen French fries…sea bream with frozen French fries. My steak was without flavor and below my normal daily standard at home. Service was ok but not exceptional but I was there for the view and food….the view didnt disappoint but the food I would not go back for. This place IS NOT AT 4.5 level by any means. Very delicious food at this place. And from the terrace, you can enjoy a nice view over the lake. The staff is not so friendly nor very accommodating and patient. During lunch hours, it is easy to get a place at this restaurant. At night though, you need to be ready for 10-20 minutes of standing in a waiting line. Here on Google, I read, that you should make a reservation. I tried to do that but they said „this is not possible“. But not at first, first they took my name and said „Yes sure“ but then some other girl swooped in and said it wouldn‘t be for 2 pax (I saw the reservation book, there were some but not that many).
