Ristorante Pizzeria RivaMia — Restaurant in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

We thought we made a good decision to choose the Restaurant RivaMia. First of all, as a party of 2 we got placed in most inconvenient place, next to the walk through to main room. Many other tables were still not occupied, but staff was not willing to separate the table. Ok - Simply for the reason it was poring dogs and cats we did think positively and stayed. The food was ok, not spectacular, but fine. I was just taking my last bite of my pizza the waitress took already my plate. Since I might have looked a bit surprised, she briefly said „you are finished“! Well, yes - that was very special. Than not even 30 seconds later, I was still chewing, another waiter came and did ask us if we would like to have coffee or dessert. Well we did feel very uncomfortable at that moment, since it was a bit busier now, it was very obvious they wanted us to leave asap. We let ourselves be guided by google reviews to this restaurant. So already at first we were received in German, yet I thought I was in Italy, either.. we don't speak German and the gentleman who was guiding people to the empty tables in a gruff way did not speak English, and did not answer us in Italian... (we saw later that he spoke it...) after this unpleasant experience we ordered water, which comes from some fountain with the restaurant's label on the bottle... not to mention that one of the two glasses was dirty and well scratched. In terms of the dish, we took a mix of meats, but... we don't know which animal in the end it was edible. what's saddest is the pizza (I remember we're in italy..) which didn't look crispy to me but rather flat like lake garda. Our story began after we ordered two dishes: a pizza and a second main course which we were told is a house special. Before the food came, a small bag with bread buns was placed on the table which was uneatable - plainly hard as stone. Afterwards came the "special" dish: a pan with scrapped potatoes and melted cheese above (priced 13.5 euros). After hardly touching it, the waitress came over to ask if everything is OK, to whom we answered that we didn't like it and then she took it. The pizza which came afterwards was only OK.. And believe us we ate a lot of pizza during our stay in Italy. We were unpleasantly surprised again to get the bill and find that although she took the dish from the table, they decided to charge us for it!!! What a lousy experience /: Stay...
