RUDE OWNERS, OVERPRICED, NO RECEIPT & NO PRICES EXPOSED. The food isn't even that good. If I could have put a 0 star, I would've. I've going to this bakery since I was a kid, though it was called Pino e Lella before. I'm Italian but writing this in English so that tourist in the area might get some insight and avoid being scammed. I've always known that they up the prices during the high season but they're overdone it this time. Anyways, this is my experience.I went today for a piece of focaccia and one of focaccia with cheese. The girl served me today, and she rang me up for 5.20€ (for the non-locals, plain focaccia normally goes for 1€-1.5€ a piece, and focaccia with stuff on top for maybe 2€-2.5€) , so it was pricey, even considering that the riviera always tends to be on the expensive side. It doesn't register with me at the time, so I don't think about it and hand 20€ cash over. She askes if I have the 20 cents, I don't and tell her I only have the 20 euro bill. She kindly gives me back 15€ (so gifting me 20 cents, becasue she didnt have any change apparently). I wanted to check the price per kilo, which I didn't find exposed in the store in the receipt.I'm about to leave the store when I realize they didn't give me one. I check the bag they gave me, sometimes stores put there but nothing. So I go back and ask for it. The other woman who's serving me tells me that I must have lost it (this happened in less than 1 min) I tell her the girl served me. The girl agrees with the her colleague. I proceed to then ask the price per kilo. The woman gets offended and starts rudely scoffing and raising her voice. She eventually tells us and weighs them again. She says the total is 5.20€ so she also wants the 20 cents back. My mother gives them to her. Doing some math, if the prices are 13€/kg and 17€/kg and the pieces weighed 182g and 90g , doing some math with a total that should be 4.17€. So they at least scammed us for 1 euro, though I would argue that it is much so overpriced, and the price of the items arent exposed. Attached is what I got. All in all, I recommend literally any other bakery in the area, including Angolo D'Oro or Tata (Panificio Alimentari Polleschi) .
