La location è spettacolare, località Spiaggia d'oro, direttamente sul lago, vista magnifica. Prima di cena abbiamo preso uno spritz, ben fatto, al bancone del bar. Il bar molto chic così, bancone nero, sedie nere, tavoli neri, soffitto nero, pavimento nero, luci soffuse, elegante, ma un po' troppo scuro per i miei gusti. La cena: dopo aver ordinato ci hanno portato un assaggino molto gradito, perché inaspettato. La battuta di carne con bagoss per antipasto era veramente eccezionale. La costata di cavallo... La carne era tenera, ma con uno strato di grasso così abbondante da creare qualche perplessità e sicuramente non una bella pubblicità per la macelleria, segnata nel menu, da dove la carne proveniva. Senza contare che i coltelli da carne che ci sono stati dati non tagliavano nulla, cosa a mio avviso inaccettabile. Il servizio: i camerieri tutti molto gentili e simpatici, però il servizio è stato approssimativo e poco professionale, il vino è arrivato dopo gli antipasti dietro nostro sollecito, hanno sbagliato il numero dei contorni perché non hanno ricontrollato alla fine della presa della comanda, quando ci hanno portato i secondi il cameriere non ha accennato ai contorni, ma solo su nostra richiesta ci hanno detto che sarebbero arrivati subito. Il conto è stato ragionevole, considerando il posto. L'esperienza è stata comunque positiva e ci tornerei volentieri, magari per provare i primi, perché finché non fanno affilare i coltelli, mai più carne.

Great place, with good amenities and great views of the lake. We only had drinks here, they were good quality and reasonably priced. We stopped here on two separate occasions, the first time we were served efficiently and feeling cared for, the second time we stopped their for a good two hours and more, but it was a slightly different experience, we needed to find a member of staff to order all the time. Overall a good experience, friendly staff, and would recommend.

La cucina del Fam ci ha sorpreso con piatti squisiti e raffinati, preparati con maestria e presentati con eleganza. Il servizio offerto dal personale è stato cordiale e altamente professionale, dimostrando una conoscenza approfondita dei piatti e dei vini proposti. Ogni dettaglio è stato curato con attenzione, contribuendo a rendere l'atmosfera del locale ancora più accogliente e invitante. Il design del locale è stato un ulteriore punto a favore, con un'atmosfera che unisce bellezza ed eleganza in modo impeccabile. Questo tocco di classe ha reso la nostra serata ancora più piacevole e ha lasciato una forte impressione su di noi. Non c'è dubbio che il Ristorante Fam sia un luogo che meriterebbe una visita ricorrente. La combinazione di cucina raffinata, servizio impeccabile e ambiente incantevole lo rende una scelta eccellente per chiunque cerchi un'esperienza gastronomica di alta qualità. Sono sicuro che torneremo presto a gustare ancora una volta tutte le delizie che il Fam ha da offrire.

An excellent venue for your sundowner or a nice day at the lake. The view is fantastic, everything is clean and well taken care of. Very friendly and courteous service with profound knowledge of the wines they are serving. If you just go there for drinks, you get a 5 star experience.

Yet the food did not meet the expectations. Even though the "dripping di verdure di stagione" as a starter was a delight and the "filetto di scottona alla griglia" perfect - even though I'd expect the cook to cut the tendons from the fillet before throwing it on the grill. The "fritto misto di pesce" was just a punishment for ordering it, dry, underwhelming and stale - I had better at railway stations (e.g. in Monterosso al mare) . The "galletto alla griglia" all right, but the chicory served with it just inedible. There were no vegetarian options besides gnocchi as a main dish and nothing vegan. The place looks great, is located nicely, there is a seperate section for bar and for restaurant - which is cool, although the section bar is a bit to the back not directly overlooking the water. Menu seems interesting, the prices are a bit more than other places. The bad thing was the service tho - it feels that if you don't "look like a rich person" you're note treated with the same respect like the rest of the clients ( even if you definitely can afford the place 😉 ). The girls waitresses didn't pay attention to a nice service unfortunately. Also it was not communicated how we should pay by the counter - we waited so long, that we just left the money on the table and left adn then were ran after and accused of not paying! Me and my wife celebrated our wedding here and it was nothing short of perfect! The food was D E L I C I O U S the staff was extremely kind and well prepared, Eliana gave us so much help organizing everything and communication was top notch and never stressful! She literally went out of her way to make our dreams come true!!
