Admiral Hotel Villa Erme — Hotel in Desenzano del Garda

Small hotel with reasonable size rooms, furnished traditionally. Clean and with friendly, helpful staff, fresh breakfast with wide choice of mainly cold foods, but particularly tasty scrambled eggs. We enjoyed the terraces, sauna and the balcony attached to our room, as well as the proximity to the lakeside. The location of Rivoltella has several good restaurants and you can eat dinner in the hotel. There is only the breakfast room to serve all meals and drinks and nowhere exclusively for adults to dine. We encountered small children, including a birthday party at the various times we wanted to enjoy quiet evenings which was not what we were looking for. The hotel is on a very busy road which is also noisy. Due to the difficulty of getting taxi services from Desenzano we recommend only staying here if you have your own vehicle as it is quite a long walk to and from the station with...

Just returned from a memorable week at the Admiral Hotel Villa Erme in Rivoltella which is a pleasant 30 minute lakeside walk from the centre of Desenzano.|Hotel staff, including Guendalina and Sylvie on Reception, are all most helpful, warm and welcoming.|Rooms are spotlessly clean, breakfast offers a good selection and the well maintained amenities include a covered swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room and roof terrace ideal for relaxing with a cocktail or two.|Local Rivoltella restaurants Zanoni and Trattoria Dall'Abate are recommended as is Cappetti in Desenzano.|Ferry and rail links make this an ideal location for visiting towns on Lake Garda as well as Milan, Verona and Venice.|We would not hesitate to return to this hotel on our next visit...
