We went because of the great reviews but were unlucky with our experience. They didn’t have enough staff and so we waited about 30 minutes to order food and drinks, the wine took 20 minutes to come, then we had to remind them to bring the ice cooler for it… we arrived at 9pm and were eating our mains around 10:45pm. The seafood spaghetti was very nice, but the calamari was the worst we’d ever tried - it was so chewy, we left most of it and the staff didn’t even ask why (didn’t seem to care). The service was so bad even 3 other tables were complaining. We eventually got an apology when the mains arrived, explaining they were short staffed

It was a great surprise! We ended up in this restaurant because it felt like a more rustic, authentic place, compared to the shiny cool restaurants in Chia. We were welcomed at a table by a very nice lady at the cashier, even if we didn’t have a reservation (on a busy Friday night!). Even though they told us there would have been some time to wait before being served, we could see the staff was really putting 100% to make serve everyone. We had a really disappointing experience. Since the beggining the comunication mas difficult because they struggle speaking English. I was already halfway through my dinner when, after an hour and a half, they told my wife (who is pregnant) that they wouldn’t be able to cook her order (which two employees told her it was very good pasta) without any explanation. She ended up eating half of my meal to avoid waiting another hour for something else. The place itself looks nice, and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, they were very incompetent.
