We try every place, experience ecc before recommending them to our summer Guests. We look for those helping our cause to reduce our carbon footprint by utilizing their most local materials and produce as much as possible. For those looking for a true Bistecca Fiorentina we have to keep searching because they informed me their 'Bistecca Fiorentina' is imported from Denmark which does not express the same flavours of the local grown grass fed Chianina. Same with their choice of extra virgin olive oil from Umbria instead of choising from the many local Tuscan producers. For our desserts we cannot recommend nor the creme brule' (which was actually burnt leaving a burned taste throughout the creme) nor the crostata ai fichi e noci having undercooked the too thick crust while using too little main ingredients. Now for the praises- the service was excellent, quick and efficient. Non siamo riusciti neanche a sederci… appena arrivati ( ore 13:40 di domenica) ci viene detto che ci sarebbe stato da attendere 50 minuti… ( ci è stato detto mentre il signore dedicato all’accoglienza dei clienti passava vicino a noi senza neanche fermarsi a dire buongiorno…. Ha detto solo bisogna aspettare 50 minuti) Ok, eravamo in 5 e dopo un breve conciliabolo decidiamo di aspettare per poi riprendere il viaggio. Il signore della accoglienza passa nuovamente davanti a noi e senza fermarsi, ci chiedi di spostarci perché siamo di intralcio al servizio e se ne va’ nuovamente senza darci la possibilità di parlare con lui. Al terzo giro riesco finalmente a fargli fare un pit stop… e quando gli chiedo di metterci in lista mi risponde che non c’è’ posto… al che rispondo stizzito chiedendo come fosse possibile visto che 3 minuti prima si poteva attendere. Mentre stiamo parlando e io continuo a chiedergli di mettermi in attesa, mi chiede nuovamente di spostarmi perché sono di intralcio e se ne va dicendomi :“c’è da aspettare non ho posto” Al che prendiamo e andiamo via… Onestamente sono esterrefatto dal tipo di trattamento ricevuto, anche perché è un posto in cui sono stato altre volte e ci siamo trovati sempre bene( si mangia divinamente) Io capisco che ci sia una enorme affluenza( cosa per altro c’è sempre e di conseguenza si può prevedere il fatto che una persona da sola che debba accogliere i clienti possa andare in difficoltà, metterne una seconda??) Ma al netto di tutto questo trovo comunque inaccettabile essere trattato così, perché se siete diventati quello che siete è per la gente che viene a trovarvi… magari ricordatevelo prima di trattare in malo modo il prossimo cliente. Sarebbero bastati 20/30 secondi di conversazione…:Buongiorno , purtroppo non possiamo servirvi siamo al completo e a breve chiudiamo la cucina….. PUNTO Avrei risposto arrivederci e grazie e la prossima volta che fossi stato in zona sarei passato...

This restaurant was a surprise. We were on the highway looking for a place to have lunch and saw this place. Decided to leave the highway and try. My initial reaction was that is must be one of those restaurants serving hundreds of plates at lunch.... could not be more mistaken about it. This is a place for meat lovers. Meat is grilled on a fireplace on the middle of the restaurant using wood, not charcoal which makes all the difference So simple and so tasty. Staff is friendly and price are okay.
