La Pizzicosa — Restaurant in Fermo

The Bar-Ristorante-Pizzeria La Pizzicosa sits in the historic part of Fermo in one of the most picturesque sites Fermo can offer. We went there mainly for Pizza as the name quite openly hints that to be their specialty. The waiters were nice and prompt, we had table and menus in no time. The place is quite modest but that should not be a deterrent as many such places tend to be essential and rely instead on good quality service and meals to retain existing customers and attract new ones. With a large selection to choose from we quickly made our mind up and choose our pizzas which took a while to get ready and that in itself could have been a sign of fresh produce being prepared with love and care in the back of their kitchen. Nothing far from the truth I'm sorry to say. I wish there was an official denomination for pizza by which what we've been served should definitely not even be remotely mentioned in the same sentence. McDonald's or supermarkets probably serve the same "quality" of product, certainly you wouldn't expect that in a Pizza restaurant in Italy. We politely reported our disappointment to the waiter which didn't seem to be neither surprised nor too worried about it and without hesitation brought us the bill with a discount for €2. Appena siamo arrivati abbiamo notato subito un disordine generale ad esempio le cassette d’imballamento delle birre in un angolo in bellavista, abbiamo ordinato due hot dog e un pezzo di pizza bianca con una birra. Quando abbiamo chiesto dei tavoli per sederci con tono minaccioso ci hanno indicato dove si trovavano, tutti i tavoli erano completamente apparecchiati, cosi, per educazione, spostiamo tutte le posate in fondo al tavolo per evitare di sporcare le posate, è arrivata la “cameriera”, se cosi possiamo chiamarla, che ci ha detto che non era carino avere le posate a tavolo come per dire che non fosse igienico anche se poco dopo becchiamo la stessa cameriera a bere dietro al bancone anche se è completamente vietato, locale sporco, cibo terribile, personale scadente. Purtroppo mi vedo costretto a modificare la precedente recensone, Situazione: Locale vuoto alle 19:00 in due ci sediamo e chiediamo chiediamo jn calzone ed una pizza metà Napoli metà funghi... non possiamo fare pizze a metà. Poi, chiedo una Moretti... non gliela posso servire non è in menù e quelle in bellavista nel frigo sono per il personale... chiedo scusa ci alziamo e ce ne andizmo.
