Caribe Beach — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

After 4700 dining experiences all over this rock we all spin on, why is this the one I want to return to night after night? I've had meals at many big names and starred places, but yes, I've never eaten better consistently, from a daily changing menu. I've experienced amazing service, but I've never had a busy place at the end of service, go to a store room to find a table for a solo diner, and repeat the care night after night. And yes, I've had fancier wine lists, but that's not my love potion anymore, though I'd like something amazing by the glass. Ive enjoyed some cracking views, but the beachside here is soothing and clean, unlike so many beaches (I'm looking at you San Sebastian!) But overall, I'd return here more than any other place. Incredible pasta, cracking fresh seafood and a menu that changes gently according to what they find nearby. Solid cookery and presentation. No stars, no cry. Just terrific family run restaurant food and service that keeps the source items...

Prices are a bit high. 50eur was what we paid for three people for a day. We didn't need three beds, but we had to pay anyway. Secondly, although several sunbeds are free in front line thru the whole day, we were given the spot at the end of the 2nd line and right at the shower 🚿, where everyone kept coming all the time to shower. We also did find a restaurant not particularly great as it is advertised by some users. When we didn't go for mist expensive dishes, but ordered panini and toasts, suddenly the staff lost interest in us and we waited 40min for the bill.

Leggo le recensioni e sono tutte ottime...c'è qualcosa che non mi torna. Ieri sera siamo arrivati e la nostra prenotazione in terrazza, fatta di persona, NON C'ERA! Le ragazze ci hanno rimediato un tavolo di fortuna, davanti alla cucina....vabbe!!!. Prima di chiedere cosa volevamo ordinare hanno cominciato a portare al tavolo tutti i pesci che avevano, compreso le aragoste vive appena tolte dal frigo, e la signora è rimasta moooolto delusa quando ha sentito che volevamo invece ordinare altre cose, anzi ci ha detto che ci sarebbe stato molto da aspettare!!!! Arrivano i tagliolini con vongole e fichi e loro si che son stati deludenti. Bei piatti ma senza nessun sapore, inoltre erano spaghetti quadri ( o alla chitarra,non ho capito), stracotti e pieni di prezzemolo con un po di vongole (per fortuna buone) e un paio di fichi, buoni anche loro. Il traminer era caldo ed è arrivato quasi alla fine dei primi dopo averlo sollecitato. Dulcis in fundo abbiamo chiesto patatine fritte SENZA SALE per uno di noi che non ne può mangiare e invece il sale c'era eccome! La signora ci ha detto che forse era RIMASTO SULLA CARTA...MA CHE SIGNIFICA????? Riutilizzano la carta???? E poi non va bene che il personale fumi fra una portata e l'altra. Serata decisamente negativa, e lo dico a malincuore. Non ci hanno nemmeno salutati quando siamo andati via....mi spiace perché le ragazze son state carinissime anche se un po spaesate. FORSE per mangiare bene qui bisogna ordinare quello che la signora propone, ma in questo caso dovrebbero togliere tutto il resto dal...
