Old Wild West — Restaurant in Fiume Veneto

Liked the place but as indiginous, the menu was funny. I know, different culture and all but naming food after squaw, and no smoking signs with tribesmen smoking with an x on it. Im uneasy about it but the food!!!!

My friend and i had some wings as a sharing starter. Some feathers still attached (the only reason for 4 star and not 5) but my god they were bangin. Chipotle sauce on deck smackin. And they were served hot!

My steak and roasted tates actully came out luke warm. I didnf ding on that as it was a very busy day and the steak was good. I would have noted the steak but we noticed all locals looking and talking about us. That and i did not want to wait 30+ mins on a refire.

Good place, will visit again but its mid teir. Plenty of better places to see.... as i write this, it deserves 3 stars to be honest. Its all good but "meh" at...

Restaurant is good in decor and reservations, but service is terrible. I've ordered a red beer and got a Miller, ordered an appetizer that came at the same time as my meal, and the meal itself was over-cooked. I asked for a rare steak and got a medium well done. In addition, the food was soft and cold, my chips were stale. In total, I waited for 10-15 minutes for my meal. Also, I'm not sure what the policy is, but having a customer smoke around others while eating? I don't mind smoking, but just be mindful of others trying to enjoy an already terrible experience.

Buongiorno, rispondo al proprietario che ha domandato delucidazioni. Mi dispiace ma le poche stelle sono legate al servizio, nello specifico, al trattamento riservatomi dal personale. Gli episodi che mi hanno portata a questa valutazione sono diversi. Le indico quelli che ricordo meglio, più recenti. Una volta ho domandato di essere spostate di tavolo (eravamo in due) perché il tavolo traballava. Era quello subito vicino alla zona che porta in cucina, il primo, contro la parete. Traballava al punto che, quando tagliavo la bistecca, era impossibile per l'altra persona tagliare a sua volta. Ho domandato di essere spostate ( la sala era poco gremita, visto che era un pranzo infrasettimanale e c'erano molti tavoli liberi) e mi è stato risposto che avrebbero "preso in carico la mia richiesta". Dopo un quarto d'ora, quasi a fine pasto praticamente, ho ridomandato e mi hanno risposto qualcosa come "ci stiamo lavorando". Alla fine, non mi è più stato detto nulla e ce ne siamo andate. Un'altra volta, ho domandato un'altra bottiglia d'acqua. Dopo mezz'ora, ho rinnovato la richiesta e la cameriera mi si è avvicinata sbuffando, probabilmente perché avevo interrotto il momento in cui guardava il cellulare con una collega, ridendo rumorosamente. Capisco che è un luogo informale ma è pur sempre un posto di lavoro. Ad ogni modo, l'acqua non è mai arrivata. Ultima esperienza di consumazione sul posto: prima di ordinare, l'altra persona, intollerante al glutine, ha domandato se in un piatto era presente solo mais o anche farina, per sapere se poteva ordinarlo. Il cameriere ha risposto "non lo so" e allora gli abbiamo domandavo se poteva farci la cortesia chiedere in cucina. È tornato dicendo che non sapevamo rispondere e ci ha detto di cercare su internet gli allergeni oppure di provare a mangiarlo e, la prossima volta che saremmo tornate, fargli sapere se aveva avuto o meno disturbi intestinali, accompagnato da una risata in faccia. Ultima volta che ho mangiato lì.
