We stopped in tonight for dinner on our last night in Italy, after finding out the restaurant that was recommended by our B&B was closed. I Due Amici (“two friends”) is not fancy, but the food and service were both excellent. The host was extremely gracious and attentive. My partner had the spaghetti bolonese which he loved and I had a pizza with Bresaleo, arugula and Parmesan. My pizza was honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had - the crust was perfect - flavourful, great consistency and chewiness. Read moreAbsolutely delicious. They have vegetarian options and he also offered to make pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables for my daughter. And my, it was so tasty and delicious! It was one of the best meals we had in Italy. The pizza was so good, a really big change from the neapolitan type pizza in the south. I don't think I'll be forgetting the taste of the pasta anytime soon.
Service was with a smile and a lot of thoughtfulness. The owner is a very nice, kind and thoughtful person.
