Old Wild West - Fiumicino Leonardo — Restaurant in Fiumicino

Decided to try this place for the first time since I was staying down the street at an airbnb. The people are very amicable. Even as a tourist that doesn't speak Italian, I was able to communicate enough to order my meal, ask for something else, enjoy it, and pay. The fries were lukewarm when I first recevied it, so I ate it pretty quickly to prevent it from getting cold. The drinks were good (I had Sprite and sparkling water [I dislike sparkling water, but this wasn't a fault of the waiter or hostess...I didn't know their mineral water is sparkling]) and my actual entree tasted amazing. I am a vegan, and have been for a long time, and this was the only item on the menu that didn't have to be customised into a vegan entree. This was a great job of a vegan entree for a non-vegan establishment. Don't get me wrong, they have a whole meat-free section on the menu, but this was the only vegan item. Everything else was vegetarian and could also be made vegan, potentially, by taking off cheese or sauce. I would definitely try this place again if I come...

Very interesting that you would find a Tex Mex restaurant in the middle of Rome. It was across the street from our hotel, so we thought we would stop in for lunch.

My burger was built and cooked to my specifications. It was very good. The fries were just okay... Nothing special. My wife ordered a salad. It was more than she could eat - and too many jalapenos.

Service was a little slow. They appeared to be short handed, though I know that here in the states we are used to a different speed of service standard than you would typically encounter elsewhere. All things considered, it was a good experience. I would recommend...

I thought the food was absolutely delicious, it is vegetarian friendly, and I found the prices to be reasonable. It is in a convenient location, next to a mall and movie theatre, and my hotel. However, my only complaint is that our table by the window had sooo many flies flying around it and it was gross. One even flies and died in my drink - luckily they replaced it without charge but that sort of thing kind of takes your appetite away if you understand why. It’s so good though that I’m not going to make a big deal of it and would just suggest sitting not...
