Husband and I were unable to get on a flight from Naples to Philadelphia, and had to return to Rome for an overnight stay. Found Tenuta del Duca out of luck when looking for one-night last-minute lodging and we were so glad we found it! From the moment I booked it once I landed at FCO to the moment they dropped us off the next morning everything was perfect. I communicated promptly with Cristina who arranged for Paula to pick us up. It wasn’t even one hour between us landing, booking the room and being picked up and arriving at the guest house. It is a beautiful century-old property with newly renovated rooms and a restaurant. We stayed in Italy for one week between Rome and Naples and this was the best room we had during the whole trip (including the higher-end room we stayed at in Naples). We had dinner at the restaurant after we settled in the room, and it was such a wonderful atmosphere and superb food and service. We had a restful night’s sleep and the morning after promptly at 6:30am Paola picked us up and less than 10 minutes later we were at the airport. I can go on and on about what a godsend this guesthouse was and how wonderful the service was. Thank you Cristina and Paola for making us feel so welcome and cared for even if for...
Read moreJust minutes from Fiumicino Airport, we stumbled upon what can only be described as a culinary sanctuary. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere wrapped around us like a warm embrace—relaxing, welcoming, and effortlessly elegant.
But the true magic began with the food. Each dish was a masterpiece—flavors so rich and refined they felt otherworldly. It’s not an exaggeration to say the food was out of this planet. Every bite told a story, each ingredient perfectly chosen and executed with precision and passion.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a complete experience. The wine selection alone is a journey, and the owner kindly took the time to walk us through their impressive collection, sharing insights and recommendations with genuine warmth and knowledge.
It’s clear that everything here is carefully considered—from the ambiance to the plating to the service. There’s a soul to this place, a rare blend of authenticity and excellence that turns a simple meal into something unforgettable.

I can’t recommend Tenuta del Duca enough. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality were exceptional — Cristina and the staff made me feel truly welcomed and at home. The room was spotless, beautifully appointed, and unbelievably comfortable — from the bed to the linens, everything was top quality.
But the real highlight was The food. I had one of the best meals of my life here. I went with the meat sampler, and it was a dream: perfectly aged cold cuts, rich cheeses, fresh handmade pasta, a tender entrecôte, a light, refreshing dessert of fresh cream and blackberries, and house-made cookies to finish. All paired with a beautiful local Cabernet that brought everything together.
And the price? A total steal for the level of quality, comfort, and care.
This place is an absolute gem — peaceful, personal, and perfect in every way. Whether you’re staying overnight near the airport or just want an unforgettable meal, Tenuta del Duca is the place.
